These are some of the handmade tags that I am bringing to Bishops Boutique Fund Raiser at Bishop England School on the 5th of December. Some I made with retired product but a great way to use up scraps.
Mother’s Day. Teacher appreciation. Just because. Say thank you with this no-maintenance bouquet. There’s no watering, no weeding-just enjoying. This easy-to-assemble kit comes complete with the petals, stems, and buttons to create the flowers, as well as four different tags to make this the perfect gift for any occasion. All you need is some paper, ribbon or a vase to add the finishing touches to the bouquet.
As if that weren’t enough, the kit contains a “baker’s dozen”! This means you can create and give (or keep) a dozen flowers, and have a bonus flower left over to pass along to someone new! Give it to someone you wouldn’t normally think of: a teller at the bank, a grocery store clerk, or the librarian at your local library. Anyone you encounter on your way that you’d like to give a little “thank you” to-and introduce them to Stampin’ Up!

We are excited to introduce our new wood-mount stamp set packaging! These new cases are similar to our clear-mount boxes and fit perfectly on the shelf right next to them. They also have the images and stamp set name on the spine to make your search for the right set even easier.
Empty cases will be available with the launch of the new catalog on May 31. That means you can transfer all your old sets to these new boxes!
Remember when you were sad that some of our old IN-COLORS were being retired, like Bermuda Bay and Crushed curry? Well, their Back! Some old and one new color this year. Of course, you will notice that some are being retired so if the retired ones are your favorites, better stock up now before they are all gone.
This sentiment is from the “Spring is in the Air” special going on right now. You can get the stamp set (8 stamps) and the 7/8″ scallop Circle punch for 15% off. They will be in the new 2014-2014 catalog June 1st, however, it will be full price. Now is the time to buy these. Go here to get yours and enter 133899 for the clear mount and punch bundle ($23.95).
This card was made with the canvas shown in our spring catalog on page 21. I love stamping on canvas……however, what I probably won’t try to do again on canvas, is water color the image….talk about labor intensive…..I wasn’t going to post this, but then again I spent so much time on it that I needed to post it, just to get some satisfaction for my time. LOL
If you will note that I stamped the image with black stazon because I wanted to water color it. But I stamped the sentiment in basic gray classic ink using a marker and was really surprised in how clear the sentiment came out. In addition, I love these new buttons, on page 20, because you can use the thicker ribbon with them.
Of course you know everything used on this card is either from the Spring mini or SAB. The gorgeous flowers come in the Artisan Embellishment kit found on page 10 of the Spring catalog. You can make tons of cards from this little kit just by adding the card stock. You don’t even need a stamp if you want to use the LOVE in it. LOL
Such a buy for $9.95.
My sister’s birthday is today and she has subscribed to this blog so I thought I would surprise her and give her a hey…..just in case I forget to send out her card! OOPS! I just realized that this is a sympathy card….oh well Judy, I guess the older we get the less happy we feel about birthdays.LOL
I tried embossing in white on the very vanilla background to give it a little contrast. Hope you like it.
We will be traveling back to SC soon so in case I haven’t had a chance to update my blog, please hang in there and check back with me.
You get 2 postings today, just like yesterday and a little surprise that I just discovered with these new stamps. AWESOME!
Well, Jack and I are on the Golf coast just outside Fort Myers for a little R&R. My husband has been a Red Sox fan since he was old enough to walk and play baseball so we try to go to Spring Training as often as we can to see them play. I must admit, I love base ball too! Since Fort Myers in Florida is a lot closer that Boston, we try to see them play down here.
We will stop off in Orlando for one night so we can go to Sea World. When we were there last month for Leadership, we didn’t get a chance to see much so hopefully, we can see a little more of that while we are down that way, and it breaks up the drive. It is possible that we may stop on the way back also.
I pre-posted before I left so I hope that the projects I designed show up on the days that I am gone. Have a great Weekend! Hugs, Patti
This is so cool. It is a die that you use in your BS to create this pop up stand up card. The first picture of course is the front of the card and the second picture is when you open it up it reveals the cutest dress form. You can get the framelits dies and the “All Dressed Up” stamp set for 20% off.
The card base can be used with other magnetic dies and is separate, as is the dress form Pop ‘n Cuts. Contact me if you want to see how this is done.
I actually bought this stamp set “You Rule!” to use on a 3D project that I was making for the Artisan Design Team. However, after I bought it and used it how I wanted to in my project, I changed my mind and went with something else. That ever happen to you? You have something in your mind that you want to make and when you put it together, it’s a bust! Oh well, it didn’t go unused, I like the way it goes with this set “Clockworks”.
WOW! Try saying that time 3 times fast! I made this card using the Canvas that is on page 21 of the Spring catalog. I used the watercolor crayons and an aqua painter to blend the background. This technique was demonstrated on Stampin’ Connection by Glenda Calkins, another SU demonstrator. I then frayed all four edges of the canvas adding another dimension.
You can get this embossing folder FREE when you purchase $50 in merchandise now through March 22nd. If you need a SAB brochure please contact me.
