I masked off this card on Whisper White CS to create the horizon. Colors I used on this card were, Old Olive, Soft Suede, and Soft Sky. The fence and pumpkins are cut from the Edgelits on page 52 in the HC. The Wheat is made with shredding the burlap ribbon. I finished off the card with Halloween Night’s Bakers Twine, page 51. Card base is Pumpkin Pie CS.
These pumpkins are from the set, Jar of Haunts, page 55 of the HC. They are stamped with Basic Black Archival Ink on Whisper White card stock. I colored with Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie markers. The background paper is from the DSP, Halloween Night Specialty paper on page 51. I layers the pumpkins on our Silver Foil paper found in the AC on page 175. Card base is Basic Black card stock.
Every now and then I like to do a clean and simple (CAS) card. This stamp set, Cookie Cutter Halloween, page 53 of the HC, fits the bill for CAS. Here I used the little scarecrow and colored him with our markers, and punched him out with the Cookie Cutter Builder punch, page 6 of the HC . For the background I used the set Gorgeous Grunge, page 123 of the AC. In addition, also from the AC, the sentiment is from the set Endless Thanks, page 42. Hope you like it!
I made this card with the set Cookie Cutter Halloween, page 53 of the HC, and Teeny Tiny Wishes, page 90 of the AC. I sponged leaves cut out with the Leaflets Framelits, page 193 of the AC, with Always Artichoke, Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry. The embellishments are the Delicate White Doilies and the 2015-17 In-color doilies both on page 175 of the AC. I used the Burlap Ribbon 178 of the AC in back of the sentiment. DSP is In-color 2015-17.
I love these little guys from the Cookie Cutter Halloween set on page 53. They also go with the punch on page 6, both in the HC. Here I used the leaves from the stamp set, Vintage Leaves, page 37 in the AC. I used the In-color DSP Delightful Dijon page, 169 in the AC. In addition, I used the Ghoulish Grunge stamp for the background. This set can be found on page 52 of the HC. Love this set and hope they carry it over after the Holidays.
There were not a lot of Thanksgiving stamps in the Holiday Catalog so I used this as one. I mean who doesn’t have Apple pie at Thanksgiving?
The set is Glamper Greetings on page 42. The DSP is from the AC, Fruit Stand page 173. I embellished it with Very Vanilla Lace trim, page 179 in the AC. Ink Colors are Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Crumb cake, Smokey Slate and Marina Mist.
Looking to do something different for Thanksgiving dinner? Why not put these on every plate? So easy to make with our DSP, Into The Woods, page 43 of the HC and the Square pillow box Thinlits die, page 41 HC. These we made at last month’s camp and filled with Twix bars. I used Daffodil Delight card stock and cut the leaves out with our Leaflets Framelits, page 172 of the AC. We then sponged the leaves with Old Olive, Watermelon Wonder, and Tangelo Twist inks. We used Wild Wasabi 1/2″ seam binding to tie the box closed and finished it off with White Bakers twine and Into the Woods wooden Elements.
More images and sentiments from September’s PP. Again I used the Happy Haunting DSP, page 47 of the HC and candy dots, page 161 from the AC. In addition I used the tea lace doilies, page 148 AC and sponged it with Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Watermelon Wonder and Old Olive ink refills on a baby wipe. That is also what I used to stamp the images. I used some left over raffia from the kit.
The image cut out from this DSP, page 43 HC, is from the Leaflets Framelits, page 172, AC. I used the maple leaf die. The fall scene, and the sentiment is from the stamp set, Happy Scenes, page 11 of the HC. I colored it with our stampinWrite markers. I love it when a stamp set comes with both images and sentiments. AND, of course this set can be used for just about any season. Don’t you just love these little wooden elements, page 43? The ribbon is our 1/2″ seam binding found on page 159 of the AC. OOPS! I just looked up the page and noticed that they discontinued the Daffodil Delight Seam binding. Oh well, Stuff happens.
I love this paper, Happy Haunting DSP, page 47. I used Tangelo Twist and Basic Black Archival ink. I embellished the sentiment with the ribbon, Tangelo Twist page 159 in the AC, and Gold Cording trim on page 24 of the HC. The sentiment is from a set carried over from last year, For all things, page 87 of the AC. The acorns were punched out with the Acorn builder punch, page 45 of the HC.
ON this card I used the framelits, page 172 of the AC, without the stamp set and I am really happy with the way they turned out. I scored each leaf with the stylus tool. The colors I sponged with are Old Olive, Watermelon Wonder and Tangelo Twist, on Dafodil Delight Card Stock. The sentiment is from the set Among the branches, page 39 of the HC. I am sure getting a lot of use from that set. I embellished with the wooden elements, into the woods, page 43 of the HC.
We all had to design something from the new Holiday catalog to swap at today’s meeting. This is my swap. I chose the Acorn Builder Punch, page 45, with the corrugated paper and I used Crystal Effects on the Top of the acorns. The sentiment is from the lovely Hostess Set in the HC, called Six Sayings. I also used the Happy Haunting Washi tape, page 47.
I made this little box with the new Gift Box Punch Board found on page 5 of the Holiday catalog. You can amke small to very large boxes with this tool. So easy to use and you do not need any glue. Isn’t that awesome? This little box I did not use glue but on larger boxes they suggest a little snail or sticky strip. These can be used for name cards, filled with little treats, for your Thanksgiving Day table. You can also change the design and use them for the Christmas table. So versatile. SU has a video showing how to assemble the box, go here to see.
Sentiment on this card is from the Holiday catalog, Mingle all the way, page 17. The background is from the Big Catalog, Hardwood, page 175 and the Autumn Accents die cut leaves are also from the Big catalog on page 232. Will be wrapping up the Thanksgiving cards and projects this week because we are getting down to the wire for purchasing supplies for that Holiday. You still have time but you have to hurry!
I made this card using the baby wipe technique. The sentiment stamp is from the set Seasonally scattered, page 43 of the Holiday catty. The leaves are die cut from the Bigz die Autumn Elements. The technique involves layering several baby wipes together and dropping different colors of ink refills onto the baby wipe until it is saturated with many colors. The you take your stamp and stamp on the baby wipes to leave a beautiful sentiment with many fall colors. Hope you like it.
Here is another card using the For All Things set. The inks I used are soft Sky, Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow and Hello Honey. In addition, card stock used was Whisper White, Mossy Meadow and Soft Sky. You can find this set on page 41 of the Holiday catalog. The twine is our burlap ribbon shredded. I like using it because it is a little thicker than our linen thread. I used the Note Tag Punch on page 13, to cut out the sentiment.
These two stamp sets For All Things and Gorgeous Grunge have got to be some of my very favs. I hope they are both around for a long time. I used the DSP Color Me Autumn and Gold basic buttons, both on page 41 of the Holiday catalog, along with the stamp set. This set is so versatile and perfect for this time of the year. You shouldn’t have any problems finding samples to get inspiration from, as I have posted many.
I know you have heard me speak of not wanting to see Fall come because winter is close behind, but I do love fall colors. I could use these colors every day and not tire of them. I used our Bigz Die Autumn Accents, page 232 Big catalog.
I have found that if you cut the leaves out with our naturals cards stock and then sponge them with our inks the colors are much more vibrant than if you use Whisper white or very vanilla. That is what I used on this card. I used the background stamp Hardwood and the sentiment is from Mingle all the way on page 17 of the Holiday catalog. The Autumn wooden accents are found on page 46.
This set has been very popular. It has some great images along with sentiments. Have you noticed that SU has been doing a lot of sets this year with both images and sentiments? That is what is so neat about our products. On this card I opted to use the sentiment from Mingle All the Way but I could have easily used one of the sentiments that came with this set. I like to switch out once and a while. Makes life interesting!
Don’t you just love the sentiments in this Mingle all the way stamp set? It has everything covered. You can find it on page 17 of the Holiday catalog. I used gorgeous Grunge on this card and images from Truly Grateful in the big catalog, page 152. The colors I used are Crushed Curry, Soft Suede and Cajun Craze.
I created this card using the stamp set Holiday Invitation found on page 49 of the Holiday catalog. This is a fantastic set if you are thinking of hosting parties through out the Holidays. Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. However, using Celebrate you can even include birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, Christenings, etc. I used the DSP from Color me Autumn (page 41) and the new lace trim found in the big catalog.
I know this is the time of the year that we (demonstrators) should be showing fall stuff but I hate to see the summer go. It is my favorite time of the year. Posting all these Halloween cards and Thanksgiving cards tells me it time to let it go. Boohoo! Well, as long as the weather stays nice and warm here in SC, I guess I am ok with it! LOL
This uses the set Seasonally Scattered on page 43 of the Holiday catalog and the leaves (For all Things, page 41) are canvas that I sponged with Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango, and Rich Razzelberry. I fussy cut with the leaves and added some shredded burlap ribbon. The DSP is Color me Autumn on page 41.
We making this card in my Friday night Hostess Club. It is made with the Truly Grateful found on page 19 in the Holiday catalog. In addition, I used the Stamp set Wonderfall found in the big catalog on page 84. I used Tangerine Tango, crushed curry and Soft Suede. I shredded the burlap ribbon for my focal point and tied it with Linen Thread.
