I colored this card with the new blendas that won’t be available to the public until August 1st. The colors I used here are Melon Mambo, Night of Navy, and Old Olive. I did use this card as a swap at convention. I actually had made so many cards for my classes and clubs that I had several 1 only cards to swap. I will be posting some others also.
I made this card especially for Lydia. She is the sweetest person and such an artist! She loves the color blue so I did the entire card in blues except for the crystal effects and the glitter. That is also the name of her blog “Understand Blue”.
She did a presentation of techniques at the convention and they were awesome. Lydia lives in Texas.
Well right about now we are settled in our hotel and enjoying what SU has in store for us. Conventions are soooo much fun. If you have never been you are really missing out. I am going to try and post some events from convention every day so you can see how things roll here.
This card I created for Lyssa’s ‘Convention Quality Swap’ that is lheld every year at both convention and Leadership. One of my faves! She usually have 5-6 groups of 20 people in each group trading swaps. However, it has become very overwhelming for her and everyone is only allowed to enter one group. This year to make it easier on her she changed it to 15 people in each group. I might add that she swaps in every group. Whew…that’s a lot of card making. I am in group #3 and here is mine:
Both of these cards I created for organized swaps at convention. The first one I did for Lyssa’s Convention Quality Swap and the second was for a Very Vintage swap. I entered twice for the Very Vintage swap. I guess you know why. I got some lovely swaps in return that I will gladly share with y’all next time you come over to stamp.
