Photopolymer stamp set. New for 2014 is a winner for me, 17 stamps for $13.95. I love all the ways you can say Love……yea or nay. LOL
There is also Countless Sayings 2. Great for Valentines Day! Let me know if you are interested and I will send you a flyer on both sets. I used the new washi tape, Retro Fresh found on page 19 of the new catalog, along with the matching DSP.
Essentials Wooden elements used on this card can be found on page 18 of the new catalog. I covered it with washi tape and attached to this card with glue dots. I absolutely love this tamp set called “Life in the Forest” on page 21. I can’t stop using this darling set. I love everything in it. The back ground dsp is called Retro Fresh on page 19. Love it!
I love vintage and this card is so shabby chic! I made the flower with our crepe paper found in the big catalog. I spritzed the flower with calypso Coral reinkers and shimmer paint. I used soft suede to age the lace and background papers. I shredded the burlap ribbon and tied them with linen thread! Hope you like this!
The stamp set used in this card is from the Big catalog. The framelits are again from the new catalog, page 18 ‘On Film’ framelits dies. Yesterday’s card used some of the same items. This is going to be very popular and what is great about it is a lot of items in the new catalog have bundle deals where you can save 15% by buying the bundles.
This stamp “Come to my Party” is in the big catalog page 55. Perfect for invitation or just a friend or birthday card. I made my own washi tape with the gingham wheel found on page 82 by stamping it on crepe filter paper, page 156 and adhering it to the Multipurpose sheets found on page 174. Easy peasey!
This is a really cool technique. By adding several layers on the floral image, it makes the flower look 3D. This is of course, another vintage card using the single stamp on page 102, called Post Card. The sentiment is from a new set to be released in January called Perfect Pennants. This will be another big seller. I love how SU has finally started designing sentiment stamps with more than just the ordinary Happy Birthday, Thinking of You, etc. I used Soho Subway DSP and newsprint is from Modern Medley DSP.
Some of the items on this card are from Sale-a-brations so I won’t tell you what they are, I will just let you guess. That is going to be released at the end of January and you will be able to get tons of free stuff in February and March. The background stamp “Hardwood” is in the new occasions mini and will be ready for purchase on the 1st of January. Some of the other stamp sets I used on this card is gorgeous grunge and the Open Sea (two of my all time favs).
Another sneek peek from the new mini. I love anything watercolor and this stamp set is perfect for that. I am not sure what kind of flower this is but I thought it looked a little like cotton, that is why my flowers are white. I wish SU would name what the flowers are in the sets. I have never been a gardener so maybe some of you with green thumbs out there know what kind of flower this is and you can comment. Also, let me know what color they are supposed to be. Had fun again using my new stuff. Lots more to come.
This is a new set from the Occasions catalog that will be out in January 2014. It is actually an Easter stamp but I left off the sentiment. I used watercolor paper and our new washi tape. Cool isn’t it? The twine is from the SAB catalog to be relased the end of January. I know Christmas isn’t here yet but I just had to play with my new toys.
Hah! I know we haven’t finished Christmas yet and here I am thinking Valentine’s Day. Well that is what we do when we are demonstrators. We have to think ahead so you will be ready for your family and friends when that holiday approaches.
Did I tell you how much I love what I do? Well to make doing this even more fun, guess what I got to do yesterday? I pre-ordered all my stuff from the new catty to be released on January 1st. It is the BEST EVER! No kidding, SU has outdone themselves once again. I can’t show you the catty yet, but I can start creating projects made with the stuff in that book, so watch for it. The heart below is from the Hostess set in the Holiday catty, page 39.
We celebrated our annual Christmas dinner with downline and sidelines last night at Zeus’ Restaurant in Mount Pleasant, where we reserve a private room. We always do a swap, where everyone designs a card (anything but Christmas) and we exchange cards. We make enough of that one card so everyone gets to take home a card. That is one way we get to see everyone’s fresh takes on sets from the current catalogs and hopefully, pass them on to you.
We also do a Chinese exchange, that is a blast, demonstrate new techniques or old ones that we may have forgotten about, and have a grand time. You can be part of this group too if you like getting together with others that love what they do and share what they like. To join my team, contact me here.
This is my swap this year. I used the single stamp, Fishin’ around, on page 58, and the sentiment is from Yippee Skippy on page 37. Hope you like it!
Very soon (the time is just flying by) we will be ringing out the old and ringing in the new. This set, Happy Hour, from the Big catalog can help you do that. It really lends itself to celebrating, no matter what….. I used a color that I do not often use for this card, Wisteria Wonder. I am not a big Purple fan but I do like the way it turned out on this project. What do you think?
I am in the mood to start creating other cards besides Christmas and this is the best stamp set for water coloring. I love the lined images. So cute too with all the darling animals. Storybook Friends can be found in the Big catalog on page 52. I also used our Halloween DSP from the Holiday catalog, Witches Brew, page 21.
This Christmas paper in the Holiday catalog, Season of Style is so pretty. I love the colors. Even though this is from the Christmas DSP, I used it for a plain greeting card. You don’t necessarily have to use it for Christmas. In addition, I used the DSP from this years In-colors paper stack. The sentiment is from “Simply Celebrate” set that is to be released in January 2104 from our new occassions catalog.
I used Raspberry Ripple for this card and some left over ribbon and vellum that I had made earlier for another project, to add a little embellishment to this card. This stamp is from a new set to be released in January 2014. My daughter Mo, graciously lent it to me. She rec’d this FREE from SU for participating in a webinar recently.
I created this card from the stamp set “Best of November”. I certainly have gotten my money’s worth from that set. I especially love this vintage Santa. I used watercolor paper and lightly tinted the background with Soft Sky to bring out the white in Santa’s beard. I used designer paper Modern Medley, one of my favorites from the big catalog. The sentiment if from the Photopolymer set ‘Christmas Tagables’.
I am so disappointed in how this card photographed. I have got to learn how to use that stupid camera……yes it’s not me! I thought I was buying a camera that was automatic, I sure paid enough for it. Maybe I should sign up for photography classes at one of the schools. Anyway, this is stamped on Crumb Cake card stock believe it or not and the set used is Endless Wishes. I am also sorry to say that if you did not order that set when it was first released, then you are out of luck. I guess you can try and get it on ebay or if someone is selling theirs. I am hopeful that when SU finally puts our polymer stamps in the new catalog, that they will include this set. I think we have shown Su that we love photpolymer stamps by how they are selling out of them.
Except for the ribbon & Brads, everything on this card comes from the POP & PLACE HOLIDAY GIFT TAGS BOOK $9.95 ALONG WITH THE STAMP SET (19 STAMPS) CHRISTMAS TAGABLES, $13.95. You can get both the an assortment of tags, the stamp set, a soft suede stamping spot and a clear block ‘C’ for $24.95. Just use the item# 135290 if ordering the entire bundle on line. I can also take your order if you would rather buy them separately. Contact me HERE.
The design of this card comes from the instructions you get with the November Paper Pumpkin. I love it! I have also created some cards below with the same set only I arranged the stars, etc a little differently, just to mix them up a bit. So much fun to play with. I have tons of stars left over and I will be using them on other cards I create. Did I say I love it!
My daughter Mo has classes with some of her friends that have subscribed to My Paper Pumpkin. For last month’s PP she really went outside the box with this kit and created this little organizational note board to hang on her fridge. So cute!
IN CASE YOU DON’T GET MY EMAILS, PLEASE SEE THE 12 DAYS OF HOLIDAY SAVINGS TO THE RIGHT OF THIS POSTING.
This was another card we made at this months clubs. Everyone loved it. I got the idea from another demonstrator on Stampin’ Connection (gallery for SU Demonstrators) Billie Moan. I changed it up a bit and I thank you Billie for the inspiration. The stamp set is Joyful Christmas and can be found on page 27 of the Holiday catalog. I used Baked Brown Sugar DSP and Early Espresso.
