This is one of the card projects we made at camp on Saturday. I am so glad that SU decided to carry over this these Starburst framelits. I have used the fool out of them. It has been a long time since I used Marina Mist and I love it with red and white.

We made this at Stamp Camp on Saturday and everyone loved it. It was made with a new die that is coming out on the 2nd of June. Different versions of this are all over the internet so it has become very popular.
I love these colors together. We made this card at my Friday night hostess club. Everything on this card is current. Although, that pretty lace trim is being retired. Look for the reduced prices in the retired stamps and accessories here.

I am so glad that they carried this set over in the new catalog. I colored this with our new blendabilities. These markers will not be available for a while but good things are worth waiting for. I used Lullaby DSP from the new catty and the twine is new for our in colors from last year. I love it.

It’s hard to see but I detailed this card with our Dazzling Details but it does not show up this picture. So pretty in real life. Everything was cut out with the matching framelits. Love it! So easy!
These are more stamps from the set, Sea Street. You know that you are going to see me use this a lot in the next couple of weeks. That way you can see how versatile the set is.
I love these new paper straws that they are selling in some of the stores. They sell them in different colors. These kinda look like our Sahara Sand. I attached the little flags punched out from our Moonlight DSP pad. Man, I love this Stamp set, Sea Street! We will be able to get all the new stuff starting June 2nd. Can’t wait!
When my children were small, I used to take their fingers and stick it in ink and apply it to the greeting card. I drew little stick figures out of them and put their names next to them (as in this photo). Everyone loved them and thought it was extra special, and the kids thought that it was fun. Except it took forever to get the ink off those little fingers. LOL
I used the NEW Bigz Die (Hamburger box) to cut out the hearts from Watercolor Wonder DSP.
This was my first attempt at using the new Blendabilities and even though I have used Copics for a few years, these do have a bit of a learning curve. The main thing you have to do is Practice, practice, practice……You will get the knack of it, it will just take some time. I used the DSP from the new catalog which is from a small pack called Moonlight that contains some of the new In-colors.
We are very blessed this to have so many beautiful stamps that relate to the sea. Especially for those of us that live on the coast. I used the new in-color Blackberry Bliss ink for this little guy. We were able to purchase some of the new stamps in the new catalog so that we could start using them and I love this set. Watch for more little sneak peaks. Can you tell I am having a blast with them?
I love this set (Something for Baby), because it comes with framelit dies to cut all of the images in the set. I used our new Blendabilities on this card. The stamp (Blended Bloom) is a single from the new catalog and is perfect for these markers. The color I used is Rich Razzleberry. The inside of the flower I used Old Olive and Daffodil Delight. The sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts.
Mother’s Day is here and I got the inspiration for this card from a demonstrator on Stampin’Connection. I change it around a little and used Melon Mambo for the Flowers and Gumball Green. Wish I could remember her name to give her credit.
I used the Petite Petals stamp set and punch and Gorgeous Grunge, all of which are being carried over in the new book. We made this card at my club on Wednesday.
I got my Blendabilites on Wednesday and I have been playing with them ever since. It is so much fun. I think y’all are going to love these. If you go out of the lines when you are coloring you just take our Color Lifter and remove the oops. I went out of the lines about 6 times on this card and you tell me where it is…..(hint) Trees…..

Love this card and the stamp set is Zoo Babies which is being carried over in the new catalog. I used Bermuda Bay and Black Stazon on this card in addition to the white organza ribbon, also being carried over. Of course ,the DSP is from Kaleidoscope. If you were in my Wednesday morning hostess club you would have made this card yesterday during our monthly class.
I really hate to see this Kaleidoscope DSP go. I have gotten so much use out of it. In addition, the candles are a wheel (also being retired) that I wanted to get some use out of before it retired. Fortunately, the candy dots and brads are staying, and they are awesome!
I love this new set because you can make anything you want out of it. Can you guess what this is? I also used the set Hello Sailor and the chevron embossing folder. Hope you like it!
After I finished this card, I thought it needed something…..so guess what? Dazzling Details. This is the perfect flower for that embellishment. I used the Delicate Detail Lace tape and the Stripes Embossing Folder.
This set “So Very Happy” is also in the new catalog. Are you into Owls? I understand there is a whole section on Owls in Pinterest. They are so cute! I had some left over googly eyes and thought they would look so stinkin’ cute on these guys. What do you think? The last time I checked they were on the Clearance Rack. This is one of the stamps that will be featured in the new catalog. SU reserved the Theater in North Charleston for demonstrators Monday evening and we all got our new catalogs and some extra goodies like this free stamp set called “Work of ART”.
It was actually a live broadcast from South Beach California, to several theaters across the US & Canada. We all had a blast sitting there for 2 1/2 hours going over the new catalogs and watching all kinds of new items that SU is introducing this year. Y’all are going to love it!
Here are a couple samples that I created using these note cards found on page 22 of the Occasions catalog. The possibilities are endless with these. Use your imagination and have fun!
I love making these you can be so creative with them. They are very easy to create. I used the tulips and the bird from Backyard basics found in the big catalog on page 79. In addition, I used the backyard basics framelits to cut out the tulips and the bird. There is a framelit for every stamp in this set so you don’t have to fussy cut anything. So simple!
I used the sentiment from Trust God on page 78 and I covered the tulips with Crystal Effects to make the flowers pop! The stamp set and the framelits you can get as a bundle and save 15%. See details on page 79.
I used different techniques & embellishments on this card especially for Mom. I embossed with Pool Party embossing powder on the sentiment and I used Crystal Effects on the Heart. I used Petite Petals with the matching punch, pearls on the flowers and Retro Fresh Washi Tape. Background is from Retro Fresh DSP. Everything is from the Occasions Catalog.
I love this set, page 28 in the Occasions catalog. I think I have used every stamp in this set so far. It is so stinkin’ cute! I used the baby pearls on the shoes which gives it that extra girly touch along with the pink bow!
On the baby boy card I used Very Vanilla CS and the DSP from Retro Fresh found on page 19 of the occasions catalog.
The stamp sets I used on this card are both from the Occasions catalog. My Mother on page 23 and Happy Congratulations on page 37. I used Watercolor Wonder DSP also on page 23. This was so easy to put together and fun to create.
I always associate the color purple with Easter. I loved using Elegant Eggplant, one of our core colors (that I sometimes over look), for this card. In addition, I used the Wisteria Wonder chevron ribbon, the elegant eggplant button and the doily for embellishments. I used the starburst framelits (page 34 of the Occasions catalog, to center my focal point, which is the flower from Peaceful Petals on page 20. Hope you like it!
I sure forgot about this DSP That was in my stash, with all the gorgeous papers that came out in the Occasions catalog. I decided since the time is getting close to losing these that I had better use them. The stamp sets are Everyday Eleanor and Yippee Skippee also from the Big catalog.
This is another double page from our Disney Cruise. The pic on the left is me climbing down the ladder on our Trek Dive. We were about 30 feet under and it was so awesome. The pic on the right was taken with an underwater camera and I am hoping to get better pictures of what we did on board from my daughter Amy.
These are all over the net. This is my take on CIAB. I made it the same way we used to make the 2-4-6-8 box. I watched several videos on this and they are all different. Some with some intricate measurements that I wasn’t having any luck reproducing. I loved how the box came out but I am not in a hurry to make another one right away. I think I want to wait until the new in-colors come out and then it will be like trying something new.
The last time I came in contact with one of these, it was in Hawaai about 40 years ago. We were on an outrigger off shore and we all had to go over the side so they could bail out the water from the boat (some people were not holding up their end of rowing). LOL
I thought I felt ground and that we were possibly on a sand bar, so I put my foot down and stepped on one. We were actually over a coral reef. The pain was incredible and I ended up in the emergency room. Another guy in our group also ended up in there with me because he cut his foot on coral & bleeding (fortunately no sharks were near by), he was on the other side of the boat.
Needless to say, I was very careful handling this beautiful creature. Unlike the black/blueish one I stepped on, this was almost all white and beige.
The sentiment and image are from Timeless Talk, and the DSP is Modern Medley both from the Big catalog. I used the Word bubbles framelits, found on page 36 of the Occasions catalog for the sentiment.
This card I created from my PP kit. I stained the wood with our Baked Brown Sugar and added one of the gold circles to one of our wooden buttons. These kits are so easy to assemble and I look forward to receiving mine every month with new and different surprises. Really happy with the way it came out. What do you think?
