You know how hard it is sometimes to come up with a Masculine card?  Well, with this stamp set, Guy Greetings, page 41 of the OC, you can make several masculine cards for different occasions.  The set is so versatile.  I used the DSP from the Paper Stack, Adventure Bound, page 40.  This is a wonderful assortment for that Masculine card.  Stay tuned for more masculine cards to come.

Some of my favorite new In-colors are Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey.  I am so glad they will be around for another year.  Although I am sorry to see our beautiful pastel in-colors leave I am excited to see what the new year will bring.  I used the stamp set Four Feathers with the matching framelits, both carried over from the HC.  See page 49 of the OC.  I colored the gold button with Crumb cake Blendabilities and used Linen twine for my bow.

This card was created using the set Adventure Awaits, found on page 41 of the OC.  It is a very versatile set that has really great sentiments.  I hope this set stays around for a while, especially because it has sentiments that can be used for men.  We are always looking for masculine card ideas.  I did this card with graduation in mind.  On the  flowers I used our classic ink pads with the Aqua Painter.

Here is more of the washi Tape sheets found on page 11 of the OC.  I used the Pansy Punch to cut them out.  The center of the flowers are the Itty Bitty Epoxy stickers found on page 28 of the OC.  I colored them with Blendabilites.  However you can color them with any alcohol pens like Sharpies, Copics or Blendabilities.  The border on the top is from the set Chalk Lines, page 114 in the AC.

I really like Pink Pirouette and Sahara Sand together.  I used the berry Basket and cut just one part of it out to create this card.  I used the set From the Garden, page 20 OC, and the Handpicked Framelits, same page.   I used the DSP, Something Borrowed.  I punched all the flowers out with various punches and embellished them with both Candy Dots and Rhinestones.  I filled in with the incolor sequins.  Hope you like it.

You can purchase this set and the framellits as a bundle and get 15% off.  That price is good through June 2nd.

I really haven’t used this set as much as I thought I would, but I really like it.  This is a very CAS card the colors I used were Pool party, Shara Sand and Pear Pizzazz.  I used the stamp set Gorgeous Grunge, page 165 AC, to distress it a bit and the sentiment is from Lovely Amazing You.

You guessed it, this is the little Baby Bumblebee, missing the wings and antenae (page 39 OC).  Don’t you just love this card?  Shelli our Co-Founder of SU created this card for Leadership and I pretty much cased the whole thing off the video.  I did have to change a few things around only because I didn’t have everything she used, but I think it came out stinkin’ cute anyway.   I also did the little girl because I didn’t want you to think that I had preferences to either sex.  LOL
The DSP and the buttons are Sweet Dreams and can be found on page 39 of the OC.  Colors used were Lost Lagoon and Crisp Cantaloupe with Sahara Sand.
This is the first year that I missed Leadership since I became a Manager.  I love to be there in person because you learn so much at these events.

I created this card with Baked Brown Sugar and Crisp Cantaloupe papers and inks.  I used the in-color sequins to embellish the card along with linen thread and one of the buttons from the OC, page 39 and colored with sharpies leaving a mottled technique on the heart button.

This stamp set is on page 6 of the OC.  I used it a lot for Valentine’s Day but as you can see it can be used for just about any occasion.  I used Lost Lagoon card stock and ink and embellished it with the beautiful shiny acccents, Something Borrowed, page 42, the Sahara Sand Ribbon, page 43.  Very clean and simple (cas) card.

This set has the best sentiments and I love the script they used.  You have probable noticed how much I have used this set.  It is the Photopolymer set for March 2015 and still available #140594.  I embossed the vine (Bordering Blooms, page 162 in the AC) with Pool Party EP.   The beautiful accessories on this card can be found on page 39 & 43 of the OC.  I colored the heart button with Alcohol Inks (Sharpies).

We demonstrators try to get together every couple of months and do what we call a SHOE BOX SWAP.  It is a sort of make and take that everyone brings so that we can all have hands on experience making a card designed by each demonstrator.  It is pretty amazing what all the demos come up with and tons of fun.
This month’s shoe box was catered by one of the Demos who also caters on the side along with being a flower designer for a local florist shop.  She is also an incredible artist and designs the coolest cards.  I have all her information if you are interested in having someone create the perfect wedding, Anniversary or birthday celebration.
This card below is my contribution to the shoe box.

I got the inspiration for this pocket card from a card designed by Pamela Subjek, another fabulous Demonstrator. She used her card for our shoe box swap for Demonstrators held every couple of months and I fell in love with it as soon as I spotted it.
I did use quite a bit of embellishments on this card.  However, I think it turned out pretty well.  The colors I used were Sahara Sand, Soft Sky and crumb cake.  The stamp set I used is Lovely Amazing You, and the DSP is from SAB, Best Year Ever.  You can still get that DSP FREE with a $50 purchase until the end of this month.  Contact me here if you need a catalog.  Thank you Pamela for your wonderful inspiration.

In addition, I used this month’s new photopolymer set, Lovely Amazing You #140594 for the sentiment.  Love the font on this set.

Last Thursday it was 82º and it was so beautiful outside.  I said “Thank You Lord for this beautiful weather.”  However, the next day the temp drop 40º but I know it’s not going to stay cold for very long.  Spring and Summer is my favorite times of the year.  I can’t take the cold weather….I need heat!
I guess that is why I just had to have this new Berry Basket Die, page 21 of the OC, the stamp set, From the Garden, page 20 with the matching Framelits.  I used the DSP Something Borrowed, page 42, Baked Brown Sugar Card Stock and the white gel pen.  This keeps the thought of spring around the corner.

I have lost track of how many cards I have designed with this set.  It has to be the most versatile set ever.  I used Pink Pirouette and Crumb Cake.  I colored the pearls with Pink Pirouette Blendabilities.  This is one of the cards we made at the last camp.  Everyone loved it, hope you do too!
WARNING: I had something happen with this set.  The little stamp that says New York is gone.  I think I threw it out with the trash when I cleaned up the dinning room table.  It is so small that it is easily missed so be careful when you are stamping with these little stamps, especially if they are photopolymer.  I love this set so much I will buy another one because I have to have that missing stamp.

Now this really surprised me.  My husband selected this card (from Guy Greetings page 41 of the OC), as one of his favorites.  I generally let him see the cards that I create if I do a whole bunch together.  I ask him which ones he likes the best and, out of 11 cards, he picked this as number 3.  Now, you might think that would be normal because it is a very masculine card.  However, Jack usually like cards with lots of bright colors.  He is himself an artist so he is very good with colors and usually stays away from monochromatics like this vintage card.  Actually the only color on this card is from the gold sequins I attached to the card at the last minute because I thought it needed it.  What do you think?  In addition I used Crystal Effects on the 3D hats, although it is hard to tell from this photo.

I know you probably thought I used Blendabilities to color this image but I did not.  I used an aqua painter and our dye based inks, Island Indigo, Early Espresso, Wild Wasabi and soft suede with Whisper White card stock.  In addition, I used a brayer and rolled the background paper, Irresistibly Yours, page 15 of the SABC, with Island Indigo.  It is a white background paper with embossed diagonal white lines.  When you brayer over it, the ink stays on the white paper but the embossed lines can be wiped off with a soft cloth because the ink will resists the areas embossed.  I used soft Sky ink to lay a color around my image and after painting the image I used a white gel pen to highlight.

See what I mean about this stamp set?  Just by changing the color of your inks you can go crazy and make your little friends any color you want.  It is so much fun to color and wonderful therapy.  Nothing like stamping lined images so you can color them in, just like when you were a kid with a new coloring book and a fresh box of crayons.  I had some left over wiggly eyes from a couple of years ago when we had them for Halloween.  I kept them knowing I would probably use them one of these days.  Unlike most of the stuff that retires, I get rid of so I can replenish my old stuff with new.  Well, these eyes are one of the things I just couldn’t let go. LOL

I love the sentiments in the stamp set, Adventure Awaits, page 41 so I am always looking what to put with them.  I selected the stamp set Petal Potpourri, page 23 with a matching punch, also on same page.  I punched out flowers to resemble a lace border on the bottom of the card and also the main focal point above the seam binding, Wisteria Wonder.  A very simple and quick card.  If you bundle the flower set with the punch you get a 15% discount off the price, see bottom of page 23.
Speaking of adventures, we are boarding the Disney Fantasy today for our 7 day family trip to the Eastern Caribbean.   I plan on doing some Trek Helmet diving, snorkeling, and spending one of our days at sea in the spa, on board, for the ultimate works.  Can’t wait! We finish the trip with a day at Disney’s own private Island, Castaway Cay.

Since I will not be able to access my lap top while I am gone, I am trying to post in advance so you don’t have to go without seeing some samples on my blog.
