I love this set. It can be found on page 113 of the new AC. You will be seeing this a lot on the internet because it is such a popular stamp set. I used the sentiment from Project Life by SU, Tin of Cards set, page 110. I love the font on this and this set contains a variety of sentiments. I used 2 of our new incolors, Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush. In addition, on the background I used the new incolor DSP.
This set, Best Thoughts, can be found in the Hostess section of the new catalog. It can only be used as Hostess Rewards and you cannot purchase this set. It is absolutely my fav of all the hostess sets. I used Melon Mambo on the flower and mossy meadow on the leaves. The butterfly is Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey. I highlighted this with our White uni-ball Gel Pen found on page 163 of the AC. If you would like this set contact me HERE to find out how you can this FREE.
If you were a member of my Wednesday club you would have also made this card. I love the new Bohemian DSP page 142 of the new AC. The colors I used match the DSP and are Bermuday Bay, Rich Razzleberry and Delightful Dijon. The stamp set is You’re So Sweet, found on page 57. This set also coordinates with the Mini Treat Thinliets Dies. So Cool! You can purchase this as a bundle and save 15%.
This was another card we made at Wednesday morning club. I used the new DSP Neutrals collection and the stamp set, Guy Greetings found on page 98 of the new AC. After I completed the card I felt it needed a little something more so I added the heart punched out from the Red Glimmer paper, page 149. In addition, I used the Basic Black Bakers twine, page 158. The file tab was created using the file tabs Edgelits on page 172.
I love the new neutrals DSP stack. It is so awesome. These are a couple of designs from that new item. I love a black and white card. It is so sophisticated. I used the framelits from the Mini Treat bag. The stamps set is Your’re so sweet found on page 57 of the new AC. We made this at our Wednesday morning Club.
This is my swap for our Carolina Girls Get together. I used the new stamp set, You’re so Sweet (to be released with the new catalog on June 2nd), along with the set Butterfly Basics page 26 of the OC. BTW, this set will carry over to the new catalog. WOOT WOOT! I used some of the new Bohemian DSP for the banners and the colors, Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzleberry, and Crushed Curry. Hope you like it!
I designed this card with this month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit. I added the balloons to the front of the card and covered them with Crystal Effects. This month’s kit is the best ever. You can make six cards and 4 gift bags and all of the embellishments are included in the kit, along with the necessary glue and dimensionals to put them together.
I am so glad that this set, Sea Street, page 48 in the AC is being carried over to the new catty. I loved this set the first day last year when I saw it and I still love it. It is one of the most versatile sets that we carry. It goes great with the Banner Banter, page 111. I used the Bohemian DSP, new this year, inks Blackberry Bliss, Delightful Dijon, Bermuda Bay and Mint Macaron. In addition, I used the new Bohemian Washi Tape. Hope you like it.
Okay this card has 12 layers and is not one that I want to make very often but I do like the way it turned out. I cannot take credit for the composition of the layers and design because it was given to me at a private swap at the convention. I liked it so much that I substituted card stock and DSP. I do not remember who created it but if you were in the same swap and know who designed this card, let me know so I can give her credit for this beautiful design.
This set can be found on page 23 of the OC with the matching Flower Medallion punch. You can buy this as a bundle and get 15% discount. I used the 1/2″ circle punch to cut out the centers. The sentiment is from the set, Build a bouquet, page 29 in the OC. The other set that I used is a border image, Dotty Angles, found on page 98 in the AC.
The ice cream cones is from the set selected for Ronald McD house this year. It is super fantastic! I have no doubt in my mind that everyone who sees this set will buy it and probably make it the highest donation ever, for this charity. SU gives $3 for each RMHC stamp set that is purchased. You will find this on the back cover of the new catalog beginning June 2nd. It even has a matching punch. The other set used is the Banner Banter found on page 111 of the AC.
I created this card for our Great nice who just graduated from high school in Atlanta and is going to Alabama at Tuscaloosa. Of course, these aren’t Bama’s colors but I couldn’t resist our new DSP soon to be available in the new catalog coming out June 2nd. The mustard color is one of our new in-colors called Delightful Dijon. It does look a lot like More Mustard, if you remember that color. The sentiment is from the stamp setAdventure Awaits, page 41 in the OC.
If you are like me, you will be excited that this set, Celebrate Today, page 11 with the matching Framelits will be in the new catalog, soon to be released. Right now you can purchase it as a bundle with 15% off. Great deal and can be used for several different occasions. I used the Birthday Bash Designer washi sheets over whisper white card stock for the balloons. Inks used were Coastal Cabana and Sahara Sand. Sentiment is from Photopolymer set, Lovely Amazing You.
I used inks Night of Navy and Crushed curry on this card. Stamp set can be found on page 69 of the AC. You will be happy to know that this set will carry over to the new catalog. I, for one, am elated over that. I have used this set a ton and want to keep on using it. It is another one of those set that are always in style. I used the framelits, Apothecary Accents, page 230 of the AC, that will soon retire so if you don’t want to miss out on these framelits, I suggest you order now.
I got the idea for this card from one of the Artisan Design team members, although her name slips my mind right now. I changed it up a bit and I used the Birthday Bash Washi sheets, page 11 in the OC for the background base card. The other DSP that I used is from the very masculine series, Adventure Bound paper stack, found on page 40 in the OC. I know that it will retire so if you want some great masculine papers, this will do it. Stamp set is Guy Greetings, page 41.
This set, Hello There, page 237, in the AC, will soon be gone. It’s funny that I didn’t see this set before now. I just noticed it and realized I have never used it. I love the font and wish we carried more of this font type. This is one of those sets where you make a very simple card look like it took a long time to create, I used Hello Honey In color. Hope you like it.
Had to throw in a masculine card with the in colors to show that even though they are soft colors they can be used for men. Here I used the set, Guy Greetings, page 41 in the OC, but soon to be carried over to the new AC. I am so happy for that because we need more masculine sets for the men in our lives.
You will see that I have used this set many times lately because of Fathers day that will be coming soon. I also used the set gorgeous grunge, page 165 in the AC, also to be carried over. Very excited over that too, because it has become a core set for me.
I used this In color on another baby card…got baby on the brain for some reason. Anyway, the set I used is Something for Baby with the matching framelits, page 74 of the AC. What is fabulous about this set is that it is so versatile with all the possibilities. Here I cut out all the items on this page with the matching framelits. The sentiment is from one of our Photopolymer sets, Sweetie Pie, which unfortunately is now sold out.
I will add here that is you are interested in purchasing the photopolymer stamp sets that are announced throughout the coming months, it’s a good idea to jump on it immediately and purchase it because they will only be available for 6 months after they are released. They go very fast.
From what I have heard from everyone, customers and fellow demonstrators, is that this in color is going to be missed the most, and I agree. If you look back at some of my past posts you will see that I used this color a lot. Here I used it in a baby card with the set, Something for Baby, page 74 of the AC and the matching framelets, Baby First. We can all breathe a sign of relief because both of these items are being carried over to the new catalog, soon to be released on June 2nd.
I guess what I liked about most of the in colors that are retiring is the fact that they are all in the pastel family and really soften up a card. Here I used the Hearts Border Punch found on page 222 of the AC. In addition, I used the in color sequins that are being retired. The good news is………the stamp set I used on this card, Hello Life, page 6 of the OC, is being carried over to the new catalog.
The next few days I will post cards made with the outgoing In colors. I really hate to see them go, they have served me well in my card designs. In addition, on this card the punch used to cut out the houses is soon to be gone also. I really loved that punch too. The embellishment stars (sequin) assortment are also retiring.
This image is from the set, Indescribable Gift, page 35 in the OC. I used Calpso Coral and Crisp Cantaloupe and Wild Wasbi to color the image. I tore up the Birthday Bash Washi sheets, page 11 OC, and added it to the base card after stamping it with the background stamp, Dictionary, page 175 of the AC.
This is from MY Paper Pumpkin this month. As you know, if you get PP, that you do not have to copy the directions that come with the kit. You can go outside the box and design what ever you want. That’s is what I did here. In this month’s kit we got a great variety of 12 stamps to use in the kit. So much fun!
Well we all know that graduations are just around the corner and we all have someone, family, friend, neighbor who is graduating. Several sentiments from this set, Adventure Awaits, page 41 of the OC, can be used for many Graduates. I love them all and hoping this set carries over to the new annual catalog. I did a water wash on the shimmery card stock with Coastal cabana and Island Indigo. I used the Framelit from Apothecary Accents (soon to retire) on page 230 of the OC, to cut out the sentiment.
This is one of those cards that I created from the scraps on my desk. The arrows are cut out with the punch, What’s Up, page 222, AC (soon to retire). I used the Washi Sheets, page 11 of the OC, for the arrows. Tripled up on the linen thread, and the image is from Painted Petals, page 19 of the OC. The sentiment is from the stamp set, Hello Life, page 6 of the OC. The background is lightly stamped with the Background stamp, Dictionary, found on page 175 of the AC. Alas, that is soon to retire……..and I just purchased it, wouldn’t ya know!
I used shimmery card stock and stamp embossed the image in white. I colored it with Aqua painters using Island Indigo and Coastal Cabana. I used Wild Wasabi for the leaves. This is such a beautiful set, Indescribable Gift, page 35 of the OC. I love the sentiment from Painted Petals, page 19, also from the OC.
I totally forgot about this set, which can be found in the AC, on page 118. This set was just sitting on the shelf and now that the retirement list is out, I started going through my sets and realized I have never used this set. I don’t know why because I love it. Fortunately, I will be able to continue to use it because it is not retiring. I used Perfect Plum, an ink I haven’t used in a long time and Crushed curry. I watercolored the flower with my aqua painters, found on page 210 also in the AC.
I created this card using the Sweet Dreams DSP, and Sweet Dreams Designer Buttons, all found on page 39 of the OC. The set is Painted Petals, page 19. I used Crisp Cantaloupe with Mossy Meadow inks. The ribbon can be found on page 43. This stamp set is best used with a stamp-ma-jig, page 235 of the AC. Hope you like it.
This is another card I created from the set, Guy Greetings found on page 41 of the OC. The sentiments in this set can be used for Father, Brother, Dad, Uncle, Grandpa, or Husband. You can do so much with the images because they are so awesome. I love a set that has both images and sentiments, takes all of the guess work out of creating. This can be either a Fathers Day card or a birthday card, or to tell that special man just how much you appreciate him. The DSP is from Adventure Bound, page 40.
