I used several techniques and tools on this card. The chevron punch on the core’dinations card stock. I then sanded it for that distressed look. I used shimmery card stock on the right side of the card and spritzed it generously with water. I added some reinkers, strawberry slush and crisp cantaloupe and blended it together. I added both colors of the stretch ribbon and watercolored 3 flowers with the aqua Painter. I then pieced the petals together from all 3 flowers using the “paper piecing technique”. What do y’all think?
This DSP reminds me of the recent cruise we went on because of the gorgeous backgrounds that look so much like the water that we went scuba and snorkling in. So crystal clear and shimmery. Oh what I wouldn’t give to be back there in that refreshing and tropical surroundings. However, we have had such beautiful weather this week, high 70’s that I feel we are close. The paper is High Tide and the stamp set is Hello, Sailor, both found on page 25 of the occasions catalog.
I love this Kaleidoscope DSP and the Geometrical Stamp set. You can find them both on pages 26 & 27 of the Occasions catalog. I got the idea of the cut out triangles from Leadership conference this year. We did them on tags and they were so stinkin’ cute I wanted to try them out on a card. I used the Triangle punch on this card and it is also found on page 26. I topped the card off with our candy dots and the wooden embellishments found on page 18. Hope you like it!
How do you like the background on this card? Well I made it with the SAB stamp set Petal Parade that you can get FREE with a $50 purchase. I used crisp cantaloupe, Pistachio pudding, and coastal cabana, three of our new incolors. Think how pretty this would be as a background for a lovely spring scrap book page.
You are going to love this stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalog called “You’re Lovely”. This set coordinates with the Deco Labels Collection Framelits dies, which I have used on this card. Both the stamp set and the DSP is FREE with a $100 order. The twine used on this card is another item that you can get with a $50 purchase. Contact me here to find out how you can have it all!
Is it obvious how much I love this Sweet Sorbet DSP from the Sale-A-Bration catalog? One of the reasons is because I love the new In-Colors so much this year and this paper goes great with them. Remember with every $50 you spend in product you get to choose an item from the SAB catalog FREE. Hexagons are so popular right now that you may want to pick up the ‘Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die’, found on page 26 of the Occasions mini.
The sentiment is from the stamp set, Just Sayin’ found on page 36 of the Occasions catalog. In addition, I used the matching framelit dies, “Word Bubbles”. You can save a whopping 15% by purchasing this by the bundle. There is even a word bubble framelit that makes really cute clouds.
I hope all y’all have the best Valentine’s Day ever! Here is my Valentine card for y’all! So easy to create. I used our new Scalloped Tag punch found on page 35 of the Occasions catalog and the Stamp set “Love You More”. I distressed the Hearts using the sanding block and core’dinations card stock found on page 157. I think it just adds another dimension to this card. The background was created with the “Positively Chevron (page 126) and Smokey Slate ink.
I love the gorgeous dsp from the SAB catalog, and the matching twine, also from the SAB catalog, is to die for. I used the cork that comes with the twine on this card and I really think it makes it pop! And to think that with a $50 order you can get either one of these items FREE! Right now you can also make an extra $30 when you host a workshop with me. Contact me HERE to learn more. If you don’t have a Sale-A-Bration catalog, just let me know. You don’t want to miss out on any of these awesome deals.
This is one of those cards that uses a lot of punching. I used the 3/4″ circle punch for the balls and the Hexagon punch to make the tails in the banner. The set is from Happy Congratulations in the Occasions catalog on page 37. I used the embossing folder, Decorative Dots from the SAB catalog on page 12.
I just love the new twine that is on page 12 of the SAB catalog. It comes in Pool Party, Crisp Cantalope, and Summer Starfruit. You get 30 yards of this plus a printed sheet of adhesive back cork (58 pieces). And all this you can get FREE with a $50 purchase. I used the Sweet Sorbet DSP for my back ground, something else that is FREE during SAB going on now until the 31st of March. Don’t wait too long to get yours.
Here are more items from the Sale-a-bration catalog that you are going to love to play with. The little flowers made out of cork and the different colored twines and DSP, Sweet Sorbet. If you have not receied your SAB catalog. please contact me here to get one.
I had more fun creating this card. I bought the back ground stamp “Chevron” when the BIG catalog came out and have never used it. Well, I ran across it the other day and of course, wondered why I hadn’t used it. So I quickly got out my Crumb cake ink pad and proceeded to stamp it on Very Vanilla card Stock. I just loved the way it came out so I got carried away using the gorgeous stamp set from the occasions catalog, Petite Petals, and the matching punch, page 33. I also did the flower in green and cut out little petals and used them as the leaves. I finished it off with SAB items, Colored twines, and banner punch.
This is the perfect stamp set for anyone you love. Just like my little granddaughter, we are always saying “I love you more” back and forth and then she finally tells me that she loves me to infinity, and the moon and back. You won’t find this in the catalogs but you can buy it while they last, just contact me here to find out.
As in the stamp yesterday, this is also from the same set Baby, We’ve Grown. It is such a cute set, I knew I was going to have to buy it even though I’m not expecting any more children in my family just yet, I know that I can use for other things. Like this rabbit for instance can be used on Easter cards. Now tell me, don’t you just love this little guy? The banners were cut out with the banner punch found on 13 of the Sale-a-bration catalog. You can get them both FREE with a $100 purchase.
I think I used a little too much brightness in trying to adjust my camera. I know it’s hard to tell but the card base is Summer Starfruit. I used the stamp set “Baby, We’ve Grown” , page 28, and the oval framelits. The sentiment is from Starburst Sayings (page 34) and cut out with starburst framelits, also on the same page. Hope you like it!
I love all the gold we have in the new catalog. Here I used the gold foil sheets, the gold vellum paper, and our metallic gold card stock for the card base. The sentiment is one that I made from the computer (an old SU retired set from years past). The little scissors are from the set “A fitting occasion” in the BIG catalog. I used the heart framelits and the salutation from Teeny Tiny wishes.
This little guy you won’t see for a while because it is from the new BIG catalog to be released in July 2014. One of our gifts from SU at Leadership was this stamp set called “So very Happy”. However, all of the embellishments are from the Occasions catalog. The wooden triangles can be found on page18, the Retro Fresh Designer paper is on page 19, and the triangle punch can be found on page 26. Sentiment is from the Geometrical stamp set, also on page 26.
This paper and the coastal cabana twine is from the SAB catalog, pages 11& 12. You can get these items free. Spend $50 and get one item from the SAB catalog FREE. If you need a catalog, either the Occasions Spring Catalog or the SAB contact me HERE.
Now if you were on my team of demonstrators, you could have made these cards at our recent demonstrator meeting. We not only have a business meeting but we have fun creating and sharing what we love.
If you decide to join my team, in a few days our Sale-A-Bration promotion will start and SU will be offering a special deal for those signing up during Sale-A-Bration. Contact me HERE to find out more.
I wanted to try my hand at cutting out the Fabric for this dress with the Big Shot. I actually had to design a blouse to go with the jumper from the pop up Bigz XL Die. I have so much of this beautiful fabric and I really need to start using it. I hope you were one of the lucky ones that picked up this gorgeous fabric at 50% off in March.
I got the idea for this card from a video posted by SU demonstrator, Daleen Pinder. She used the Border Score guide that comes with the new Simply Scored Border Plate, to draw the line from the butterfly. Although she demonstrated a technique on her card, I changed it a bit using punches and vellum CS on mine. Hope you like it.
You can find these gorgeous boxes on page 25 of the Spring catalog. It is such a deal. The entire kit includes 8 die cut boxes that you can design any way you want. Everything you need is included. All you need is adhesive, it even comes with dimensionals. Here are some of the designs I created with four of them.
The little box ideal size for giving a gift card. Little printed note cards are perfect for writing that little personal message inside with the gift card.
With graduations coming up what better way to give that special person a gift for the future. $7.95 for the kit. Contact me to get this kit.
We will be making this as our 3D project for Stamp camp this month on the 16th. I have changed the date because I wanted y’all to be able to take advantage of Sale-A-Bration which ends on March 22nd this year. Hope to see you there. Space is limited so registration is required. Thanks to Patricia Giesbrecht, a Stampin’ Demonstrator for this idea.
This card was made with the canvas shown in our spring catalog on page 21. I love stamping on canvas……however, what I probably won’t try to do again on canvas, is water color the image….talk about labor intensive…..I wasn’t going to post this, but then again I spent so much time on it that I needed to post it, just to get some satisfaction for my time. LOL
If you will note that I stamped the image with black stazon because I wanted to water color it. But I stamped the sentiment in basic gray classic ink using a marker and was really surprised in how clear the sentiment came out. In addition, I love these new buttons, on page 20, because you can use the thicker ribbon with them.
