I had to add this Halloween card to because it was so much fun to make. You are going to love using the new spooky stamps from the Holiday Catalog (HC) soon to be released in September. The name of this set is Spooky Cat. Oh!, and it comes with the cutest cat and matching punch if you bundle. Love it!
This is an invitation for a lobster party. Yum, doesn’t that look good enough to eat? The set is from By the Tide, page 82 and I used Crystal Effects on the Lobster. The DSP is from Farmers Market DSP. The sentiment is from a Paper Pumpkin set.
One of the things I like so much about our new and revised Paper Pumpkin Kits are the stamp sets that are included with them. They are absolutely fantastic and I have kept most of them for special occasions like this.
A little hint for storing your stamp sets, after you have made the beautiful projects, in the kits, are to store them in a Wide Stamp Case, page 176. I have about 12 sets in one of the Full cases and I think it will hold at least 2 or more sets. The new photopolymer stamps that now come with the kits take up less room and you can really fit a lot into one case. There is even a paper sleeve, that you can print out and label your case “Paper Pumpkin Stamp Collection” just like the labels on our regular sets.
I cased this card from another demonstrator on Stampin’ Connection but I can’t remember who this talented stamper is. If you know who the original designer is please let me know so I can giver her credit. We created the background with a block stamped in Sahara Sand. The tree is stamped in Mossy Meadow as is the sentiment from Good Greetings. Such a pretty card and so clean and simple.
I went outside the box (forgive the pun), and made these cards using some of our other embellishments (not in the kit) just to show you the diversification of this kit. It is loaded with great ideas already but if you want to do something other than what is shown on the instructions, it is easy to do. I made this card using the baby wipe technique. The sentiment stamp is from the set Seasonally scattered, page 43 of the Holiday catty. The leaves are die cut from the Bigz die Autumn Elements. The technique involves layering several baby wipes together and dropping different colors of ink refills onto the baby wipe until it is saturated with many colors. The you take your stamp and stamp on the baby wipes to leave a beautiful sentiment with many fall colors. Hope you like it.
This was a card that we made at one of the club meetings. I used the DSP Motley Monsters and the sentiment is from Merry Everything, page 13 with the matching punch. Really easy card, only stampin is the sentiment. I used the sequins, ribbon & linen thread to embellish.
Here is another card using the For All Things set. The inks I used are soft Sky, Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow and Hello Honey. In addition, card stock used was Whisper White, Mossy Meadow and Soft Sky. You can find this set on page 41 of the Holiday catalog. The twine is our burlap ribbon shredded. I like using it because it is a little thicker than our linen thread. I used the Note Tag Punch on page 13, to cut out the sentiment.
These two stamp sets For All Things and Gorgeous Grunge have got to be some of my very favs. I hope they are both around for a long time. I used the DSP Color Me Autumn and Gold basic buttons, both on page 41 of the Holiday catalog, along with the stamp set. This set is so versatile and perfect for this time of the year. You shouldn’t have any problems finding samples to get inspiration from, as I have posted many.
I took all the pictures of my class for WCMD with my iphone so they are not as detailed as I would have liked them to be. I am trying to adjust my Nikon so that I can take better pics with that camera. This is the front and inside of card. I used the set Bright & Beautiful, page 25 of the Holiday catalog and the matching Stars framelits found in the Big catalog on page 231. I also used our Sliver Glimmer paper and the silver foil paper along with the drop dead snowflake embellishments, page 22. They are so adorable. I added a candy dot to the center of the star embellishment.
This set has been very popular. It has some great images along with sentiments. Have you noticed that SU has been doing a lot of sets this year with both images and sentiments? That is what is so neat about our products. On this card I opted to use the sentiment from Mingle All the Way but I could have easily used one of the sentiments that came with this set. I like to switch out once and a while. Makes life interesting!
Now this stamp is from the set Bootiful Occasions, page 136 in the big catalog. You can use it for Halloween, summer, winter, or rainy days. I am so glad this set was carried over to the new catalog this year. It has always been one of my favs. I used Soft sky for the card base and highlights on the boot. The background is created using the Lucky Stars Textured Embossing folder and I used the Star embellishments from In color Sequin assortment.
Sometimes we need a sympathy card and I thought this stamp set fit the bill. I used the sentiment from Hostess set Bloom with Hope on page 240 of the Big catalog. The background stamp is called Country Corner and is in the Big catalog. I used an aqua painter and the lids of classic ink pads on watercolor paper. Hope you like it!
This is another stamp set that has framelits to go with it. You will be able to save 15% when you combine them both, see page 42 in the Holiday catalog. I love the feathers and on this card I used them with Gorgeous Grunge and the sentiment from Really good Greetings. The background on this card is made with Dotty Angles, page 98 in the Big catty.
Another Ray of Sunshine card. This card has some great images along with great sentiments. I needed a quick birthday card so I came up with this. Again I am looking for more ways of using this set so if you have created any cards with it send them on to me and I will post them giving you credit of course. This time I used the DSP Typeset.
This is another card that I designed with the set Ray of Sunshine. I think it goes well with the nautical theme. What do you think? I love these colors together. It is so patriotic looking. I used the DSP Maritime found on page 187 of the big catalog and our Cherry Cobbler Bakers twine.
I finally caved and bought this set, found on page 159 in the big catalog. I liked it from the first time I saw it but I hesitated thinking what could I use it on. Well, I have used it on several different cards. I will be showing them in the next couple of days. Hope you like them, if you do please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
I created this card for our Shoe Box swap with my downline and other sidelines. We try to get together about every two months. Everyone prepares enough supplies to copy their creation and you go from station to station doing make and takes. It is so much fun to get together with these wonderful ladies. Being a demo is great.
This card I created from Fall Fest and used the framelits that coordinate with the set. It can be purchased from the Holiday mini (page 46) at 15% discount if you buy the bundle. I also used the mustache framelit (page 230 in the big catalog). The background paper is Motley Monsters DSP. The sentiment is from Good greetings, which you can get FREE if you host a $300 workshop. I love this stamp set. It is so easy to color and has beautiful sentiments. This set is in the Holiday catalog on page 26. I used the aqua painter with our classic ink in real red and crumb cake, so easy. This was one of the cards we made at our Christmas in August class.
This single stamp has been really popular on the internet. If you remember the last time I posted it I did it in non-traditional Christmas colors. Well this time I used the traditional colors and used the beautiful DSP found on page 22. In addition I used the Lost Lagoon Silky Taffeta ribbon, although my camera doesn’t do it justice, it does truly match the card in real life. Blaming it on the camera again. The sentiment is from Endless Wishes found on page 32.
I did use our aqua painters with our classic pads on Watercolor paper and our white gel pen for accent.
I know this is the time of the year that we (demonstrators) should be showing fall stuff but I hate to see the summer go. It is my favorite time of the year. Posting all these Halloween cards and Thanksgiving cards tells me it time to let it go. Boohoo! Well, as long as the weather stays nice and warm here in SC, I guess I am ok with it! LOL
This uses the set Seasonally Scattered on page 43 of the Holiday catalog and the leaves (For all Things, page 41) are canvas that I sponged with Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango, and Rich Razzelberry. I fussy cut with the leaves and added some shredded burlap ribbon. The DSP is Color me Autumn on page 41.
These little guys were created with the new Fall Fun Framelits found on page 46 of the Holiday catalog. By now you have all rec’d that wonderful collection of stamps and accessories. The eyes of the ghosts are stamped with the set Freaky Friends on page 45 and the sentiment is from Mingle all the Way on page 17. The bat is from a retired punch that was on the clearance rack.
OOPS! just noticed that the date on my watermark is 2104. Hah! I should live so long! LOL
I sure used a lot of Glam on this card. Gold embossing, gold sequin trim along with the gold Fancy Foil DSP Vellum, gold foil card stock and metallic Gold card stock for the base card. WOW that’s a lot of GOLD!
The Stamp set is Cheerful Christmas found on page 15 of the Holiday catalog and the sentiment is from Endless Wishes on page 32. Do you remember last Christmas that Endless Wishes sold out in a matter of days. Well it was so popular that SU decided to bring it back and I am so glad they did. It is an awesome stamp set with beautiful fonts and images.

I love this photopolymer stamp set, Tee-Hee-Hee, found on page 47 of the Holiday catalog. You can create all different cards from this one set because it has so many images. One of my faves for Halloween! I used the DSP Typeset for the background and that can be found in the Big catalog.

I had all I could do NOT to order everything in it during the pre-order period for demos. Of course, I did purchase some of them available at convention so I really had a head start to get used to them. If you like the set “Work of Art”, you will love this. I cased this card and envelope, directly from the magazine called “Stamping Success” that is for Demonstrators only.
I love this new DSP Flashback. It goes great with our single stamp found on pg 167 of the big catalog. I used Crystal Effects on the lens and our new blendabilities, Cherry Cobbler and Smokie Slate, to color the camera. The sentiment is from Hip Notes. So Cool!
This is one of the cards we will be making at the hostess appreciation party. That is a fun event that I have for all the wonderful Hostesses that have held parties at their homes, did a book party, were a regular member of one of my clubs, or is an active Paper Pumpkin subscriber for the last year (current year starts all over in August this year).

This is one of those cards I like to call easy peasy, not exactly CAS (clean and simple) but close. We made this at Wednesday’s club and every one really liked it. They all thought it would be a great masculine card also. I used our new in-colors, Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss and Lost Lagoon. Notice the Lost Lagoon satin ribbon which comes in all of our new in-colors. So pretty and lays so nicely on your projects. I used the banner framelits with the Big shot.
It has been awhile since I posted some thing on the vintage side, right? Well you know me I love vintage. This new set Traveler really lends itself to vintage style. It can also be used for memory keeping with your Project Life by SU if you are a ‘traveler’ and like to journal your trips.
This set is called Holiday Home and it is in the new (yet to be released) Holiday catalog. You will soon be getting it in the mail and every thing in there will be available for purchase on August 28th. This goes well with our Nordic Noel DSP AND….are you ready for this…….. matching Framelits to cut out the houses. This is so much fun to play with. Another card created with the set Kinda Eclectic. This is turning out to be one of my faves. On this card, I used every image in the set. The colors I used were Garden Green, Crushed Curry and Tangerine Tango. O used our punches to cut out the butterflies. Hope you like it. This set can be found on page 164 of the big catalog. I haven’t used this set in such a long time. A swap I rec’d at convention inspired me to try to create something with it and this is what I came up with. The set is called Happy Hour can be used for the Holidays also. It contains 5 different sentiments which is a big plus for doing both the front and inside of the card. Not to mention, lots of cocktail glasses! You can find this set on page 135 in the big catalog.
Can you guess what I used for the background on this card? Well, it is from Project life. It is one of the cards in the set Everyday Adventure on page 189. I love the ombre look and the nice thing about these PL cards is that you can use them on greeting cards as well as your memory books. Lots of designs to choose from. I especially love this stamp set and try to use it as much as possible because it is so easy to create with it.
I used crystal effects on the typewriter from Tap Tap Tap and the Geometrical stamp set with it. In addition, I used the triangle punches and matched the colors to our new paper stack Moonlight on page 185 in the catalog.
