I had to add this Halloween card to because it was so much fun to make. You are going to love using the new spooky stamps from the Holiday Catalog (HC) soon to be released in September. The name of this set is Spooky Cat. Oh!, and it comes with the cutest cat and matching punch if you bundle. Love it!
These pumpkins are from the set, Jar of Haunts, page 55 of the HC. They are stamped with Basic Black Archival Ink on Whisper White card stock. I colored with Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie markers. The background paper is from the DSP, Halloween Night Specialty paper on page 51. I layers the pumpkins on our Silver Foil paper found in the AC on page 175. Card base is Basic Black card stock.
Every now and then I like to do a clean and simple (CAS) card. This stamp set, Cookie Cutter Halloween, page 53 of the HC, fits the bill for CAS. Here I used the little scarecrow and colored him with our markers, and punched him out with the Cookie Cutter Builder punch, page 6 of the HC . For the background I used the set Gorgeous Grunge, page 123 of the AC. In addition, also from the AC, the sentiment is from the set Endless Thanks, page 42. Hope you like it!
The background is created using the DSP, Halloween Specialty, page 51 of the HC. The stamp sets used are Cookie Cutter Halloween, page 53, and Sweet Home, page 40, of the HC. The cute little spooky house is cut out from the DSP above. I just love this pack of DSP, it is so versatile that you can use it both for Halloween and Fall cards. Of course, the little Mummy is cut out with the Cookie Cutter punch on page 6 of the HC.
It’s a funny thing about Halloween cards. I love to make them but I rarely send them except to little ones. They are so much fun to put together and I always end up with a ton of unsent cards so if you need some let me know. I also have friends that do not celebrate this Holiday so they are not interested in making Halloween cards.
This card is made with the stamp sets Cookie Cutter Halloween, page 53, Jar of Haunts, page 55, and Ghoulish Grunge, page 52 of the HC. I just love the little spiders, they are so stinkin’ cute! If you love Halloween and making cards you will be in love with everything SU put together in this HC. So much to pick from being scary to being cute and funny.

This project was made using the Stamp set Sweet Home and the Thinlits, page 40 of the HC. It is almost like the sample on the same page except that I changed it around a little. The DSP is Halloween Night Specialty on page 51. Love this suite. You can get a discount on the bundle if you buy both the set and thinlits together.
This was one of the cards we made at Camp on Saturday. The Specialty DSP, Halloween Night, page 51 of the HC, really sets it off. I used the set Jar of Haunts from the HC, page 55. The sentiment is stamped on a banner cut from the Banner Framelits, page 193, AC and backed with silver foil, page 175.
I just love all the holiday stamps this year and this is one of my favs. I usd the silver metallic thread, page 178 in back of the cute zombie.
From the HC, this 3D item is what we made at Camp on Saturday. The DSP is Halloween Night Specialty paper and I cut the bag out with our Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, page 191 in the AC. I used the Scalloped Tag Topper punch, page 186 to make the tag and decorated it with the stamps from Sweet Home. The Bow is made from the new Halloween Night Baker’s Twine and fastened with the Gold Binder clips, page 177. Imagine how cool this would be filled with candy for that special little Trick or Treater.
The stamps I used to create this card are from the HC, Ghoulish Grunge and Jar of Haunts. I used Clear embossing powder with Cherry Cobbler Ink on the jar. In addition, I used the new DSP, Halloween Night Specialty paper. The bats are from Sweet Home stamp set, also in the HC.
This card is created with the Edgelits, Halloween Scenes, from the new HC. The sentiment is actually from the set, Glamper Greetings, and with a Thinlit dies from Home Sweet Home. The DSP is new also and that is called Halloween Night Specialty. Note the house on the bottom is fussy cut from same DSP. So versatile.
I love this black glimmer paper. It is really stunning! I am hoping top be able to use some of it for Christmas too! Have to get my thinking cap on for that. These were cut out with the Boo to you framelits on page 49 of the HC and I used the DSP Happy Haunting on page 47.
I cut the ghosts out of the DSP Happy Haunting, page 47 of the Holiday catalog. The background is also from the same DSP stack. The BOO! is from the Boo to you Framelits, page 49. I used Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper.

Do you know how awesome our stamp sets are from the Paper Pumpkin kits? This card was created using the stamps from September’s Paper Pumpkin. Not only are there plenty of images but also plenty of sentiments. I used the DSP Happy Haunting, page 47 from the HC and our Candy Dots, page 161 from the AC. Just use your imagination and create your own.
This little goodie bag is from this month’s Paper Pumpkin especially for Halloween. Although you could change the sentiment and use it for just about any occasion. Everything to make this and 7 more come in the package, including the glue and the most awesome stamps ever! We did this for our 3D item at Camp yesterday, filled with Dove Chocolates of course!
This is one of the cards we will be making today for camp. The stamp set Howl-o-ween Treat can be found on page 49 of the HC. I used the Boo to you framelits (same page) to cut out the hat. The spider web doilies are on page 47 and the “Spooky” Thinlits can be found on page 40. The Pumpkin is stamped with the set Sparkly Seasons, pg 40, and I used the 2″circle punch to cut it out. The sequins are from the Brights Assortment, page 160 of the AC.
I sponged this card front with tangelo twist and Blackberry Bliss. Lydia Fielder, Understand Blue used these colors together on a card and I really liked the look of it. Thanks for the inspiration Lydia. I used the stamp set Howl-o-ween Treat, page 49. I used the fabulous Boo to You framelits to cut the images out.
I love the cat in this stamp set, Festive Fireplace, page 10 in the HC. I also used the branch from the set Among the branches, page 39. I used the Sleigh Ride Edgelits with the houses on this card. Used the white gel pen to highlight.
This card was created with the set, Witches’ Night, page 7 of the HC. I used Crystal Effects on the Raven and the date. I also used our Spider Web Doilies found on page 47. The DSP is Happy Haunting page 47.
Again this bundle can be found on page 11 of the HC. I used the Hearth & Home Thinlits dies to cut out the window. The spider and web is from Happy Scenes and the background paper is from Go Wild DSP paper Stack, page 144 of the AC. I blended Rich Razzleberry and Elegant Eggplant for outside of the window and used Daffodil Delight for the Moon.
I love some of the embellishments that SU is showcasing in this new Holiday Catalog. I used the samp set Howl-0-Ween, page 49 along with the Spider web Doilie, page 47 of the HC. This time I used the skull and Bones from the stamp set. I used it with our heavy white card stock, page 149 in the AC.
The embossing folder, Woodland Textured Impressions, page 39, really sets off this card. The set that is paired with it, Among the Branches can be found on same page. It is pretty versatile considering you can use it for Fall /Thanksgiving, and Christmas also. I have seen some pretty cool samples on the internet where Demonstrators have used all different colors as the background for the trees. You will be seeing this quite a bit in my postings through out the seasons. The second card is also from the same bundle, I just switched it up a bit.
I can honestly say that this set, Howl-0-ween Treat, page 49, is one of my favorite sets in the entire Holiday catalog. What I love about it are the matching framelits dies that you can buy with it. Of course it can be bundled so you can save 15% on both items. How much fun making cards with these and we do not have to fussy cut. THe embossing folder is to die for and you can find that on page 39. That is also part of a bundle too where you can save on both the stamp set that is paired with it. You will see that set in tomorrows post. Everything in this new catalog is sooooo awesome, I had trouble trying to select which ones I had to have. Hard decision!
Another sneak peek at our Holiday catalog featuring Halloween. This stamp set is Witches Night and can be found on page 7 of the HC. I originally bought it to go with the Witching Decor Project Kit but I have made several cards with it too. This card I used Rich Razzelberry for the Raven and the date and then covered them with Crystal Effects.
This was a card that we made at one of the club meetings. I used the DSP Motley Monsters and the sentiment is from Merry Everything, page 13 with the matching punch. Really easy card, only stampin is the sentiment. I used the sequins, ribbon & linen thread to embellish.
I don’t think I am ever going to use up all of the items in this kit. There is so much. All you really need to do is add your card base, stamp, add embellishments and you are good to go. I can’t wait to see what is in the October PP. I understand it will be something to do with Thanksgiving. Should be coming any day now and I am super excited.
Another really cute embellishment received with this kit was the little clothes pins, and so many of them.
I had so much left over in this last month’s Paper Pumpkin, I decided to make a few cards. The only thing I added was our new Washi Tape, found on page 41 of the Holiday catalog. Our Paper Pumpkin Kits are so versatile now. This one set not only contained supplies enough to create 6 beautiful bags but 9 stamps so that you have a large variety of Halloween stamps to choose from.
This next card I used the White and Tangerine Tango two-tone Trim found on page 45. I made the fringe by separating the two colors and then blending them together.
These are more cards from my class on Saturday and the 3D item we made! The first card is made from Fall Fest and the matching Fun Fall Framelits Dies and Motley Monster DSP. The Football is made with the Curvy Keepsake Thinlits Dies found on page 11 of the Holiday catalog.
The third card is from the big Catalog, Flower Patch, page 156 and cut out with the matching Flower Fun Framelits Dies using the Big Shot. We left the inside blank so you could make it any greeting you wish. All of the sets posted today that have matching die cuts can be purchased with a 15% discount if bundled.
This is another card we made at the hostess clubs this month. These stamps are from Freaky Friends found on page 45 of the Holiday catty. This set is so much fun to use. So many monsters to choose from. In addition I used the matching DSP called Motley Monsters found on the same page. I used the 2013-15 In color Seqiun assortment to add a little bling to this card. Hope you like it!
We made this card at our Friday night Hostess club. I used the new Confetti Stars punch (page 30) holiday catty, and Champagne Glitter paper under the stars and under the sentiment. The sentiment is from Good Greetings the hostess Bonus set when you host a $300 workshop. The pumpkins are from Fall Fest stamp set cut out with the matching framelits.
I created this card for our Shoe Box swap with my downline and other sidelines. We try to get together about every two months. Everyone prepares enough supplies to copy their creation and you go from station to station doing make and takes. It is so much fun to get together with these wonderful ladies. Being a demo is great.

I originally purchased this set to use at Christmas but then I thought it was great for Halloween. Just changing out a spooky sky surrounding the houses and adding the ghost an bats (also in the set) did the trick. Don’t you agree? This set is so versatile. I love this stamp set (page 45). It is so cool. I love using it with the stamp set Tee-Hee-Hee (page 47). Both sets have some incredible images and the sentiments are hilarious! Perfect sets if you are into Halloween!
I made this with the stamp set Mingle all the way (page 17) and Fall Fest (page 46) in the Holiday catalog. In addition, I used the Fun Fall framelits (page 46) to cut out the pumkins and the ghost. You can really have some fun with this and it isn’t only for Halloween but the leaves can be used through out the fall. I used the set Tee-Hee-Hee (page 47) for the bat and EEK! I cut the legs on the bottom of the card using the punch Decorative label found on page 220 of the big catalog.
