This is one of the stamps that will be featured in the new catalog. SU reserved the Theater in North Charleston for demonstrators Monday evening and we all got our new catalogs and some extra goodies like this free stamp set called “Work of ART”.
It was actually a live broadcast from South Beach California, to several theaters across the US & Canada. We all had a blast sitting there for 2 1/2 hours going over the new catalogs and watching all kinds of new items that SU is introducing this year. Y’all are going to love it!
I love making these you can be so creative with them. They are very easy to create. I used the tulips and the bird from Backyard basics found in the big catalog on page 79. In addition, I used the backyard basics framelits to cut out the tulips and the bird. There is a framelit for every stamp in this set so you don’t have to fussy cut anything. So simple!
I used the sentiment from Trust God on page 78 and I covered the tulips with Crystal Effects to make the flowers pop! The stamp set and the framelits you can get as a bundle and save 15%. See details on page 79.
I used different techniques & embellishments on this card especially for Mom. I embossed with Pool Party embossing powder on the sentiment and I used Crystal Effects on the Heart. I used Petite Petals with the matching punch, pearls on the flowers and Retro Fresh Washi Tape. Background is from Retro Fresh DSP. Everything is from the Occasions Catalog.
I love this set, page 28 in the Occasions catalog. I think I have used every stamp in this set so far. It is so stinkin’ cute! I used the baby pearls on the shoes which gives it that extra girly touch along with the pink bow!
On the baby boy card I used Very Vanilla CS and the DSP from Retro Fresh found on page 19 of the occasions catalog.
I always associate the color purple with Easter. I loved using Elegant Eggplant, one of our core colors (that I sometimes over look), for this card. In addition, I used the Wisteria Wonder chevron ribbon, the elegant eggplant button and the doily for embellishments. I used the starburst framelits (page 34 of the Occasions catalog, to center my focal point, which is the flower from Peaceful Petals on page 20. Hope you like it!
These are all over the net. This is my take on CIAB. I made it the same way we used to make the 2-4-6-8 box. I watched several videos on this and they are all different. Some with some intricate measurements that I wasn’t having any luck reproducing. I loved how the box came out but I am not in a hurry to make another one right away. I think I want to wait until the new in-colors come out and then it will be like trying something new.
This card was made with the Geometrical set found on page 26 in the Occasions catalog along with the Triangle punch. I used the 1″ circle punch for the ice cream. I got the idea for this card from Paper Crafters’ Library. I changed it around a bit by adding the DSP and the sentiment. Hope you like it!
We made these little Easter treats at Stamp camp and hostess club. I used the new Scalloped tag punch and covered the nuggets with In-color designer series paper. The bunny image is from Storybook Friends. Just the right size for classroom friends or co-workers.
To make, cut the card stock at 2″ X 8 1/2″ and score from each end at 3 1/2″. Punch both ends with the Scallop Tag Topper punch and thread ribbon through holes. Decorate front of treat holders with something Easter. Wrap the nuggets with DSP cut at 1″ X 3″. Adhere with glue dots. Easy peasy!
Doesn’t the background on this card look like the old ceiling tiles? I made this with the Silver foil card stock and the Beautiful Barougue Embossing folder. I embossed the image on Shimmery white card stock with White craft ink. I spritzed the image with clear water and dropped coastal cabana ink refill into the image with my aqua painter. When it hits the water it disburses into the most beautiful watercolor technique. I love the effect, how about you?
This stamp set is so stinkin’ cute. It is our latest photopolymer set. It has a matching set called Sweetie Pie Frames. The Sweetie Pie set has 12 different adorable faces and the Frames set contains 14 stamps with sentiments. Each set is priced at $13.95, which works out to a little over a buck a stamp. If you haven’t tried our photopolymer stamps you are in for a treat!
Hopefully these will carry over in the new catalog.
You can still get some of our SAB items up until midnight tonight but after that, they are gone. If you planned on getting some of this beautiful DSP now is the time. I hate to see it go it has been one of my favs.
Of course, there is no guaranty, but you may see a lot of SAB items and DSP available as prizes, at my annual Hostess Appreciation party. Contact me HERE to find out how to qualify for an invite to this party.
I got the idea for this card from a demonstrator in Stampin’ Connection. I copied her layout and changed the colors and embellishments.
That’s one of the nice things about being a demonstrator. You have access to this site called “Stampin’ Connection”. It is awesome! To give you an example, right now there are 17, 480 pages (20 samples on each page) of cards, scrap book pages, and 3 D items that you can case (copy and share everything). You never have to be concerned finding examples for your paper crafting.
Did I say that right now (only til the end of this month) you can become a demonstrator and get a kit valued at $150 for $99? Another SAB wonderful offering. Contact me HERE to find out more.
….to take advantage of the FREE item in the Sale-A-Bration catalog when spending $50. The twine on this card is from the SAB catalog. Look how nice it goes with our beautiful inks, pool party, crisp cantaloupe, and Summer Starfruit. That has got to be the best reason for buying our products, you don’t have to guess on what embellishments goes the best with our colors…..they are all specifically dyed to match our papers, ribbons, inks, and card stock. If you are a seasoned crafter or brand new, you know how important that is.
Believe it or not, I made this card with several pieces of scraps I found on my table in my craft room. I was too lazy to go to the cabinet where I keep my organized stuff so I looked around the table that I was working on and found left over pieces from other cards I had just made. What do you think?
This is another card I designed for the contest. And yes, I know it’s vintage again but look at all the cards I post that are NOT vintage. You know I have to throw these in every so often, right? Tell me you don’t love the coffee cup on page 37 of the BIG catalog! I think everyone can relate to that even if you are not a coffee lover! The sentiments that come with this image are awesome! In addition, I combined images from the set Clockworks found on page 109.
I bet you think that the background on this card is DSP, right? Well, you would be wrong. I used Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Summer StarFruit, Pool Party ink and the stamp set, Petal Parade from SAB catalog to create the background. In addition, I used Gorgeous Grunge to get that splattered look with Stazon ink. I used the twine from SAB Sweet Sorbet pack. That’s what I love about our products, with all the matching embellishments, creating a card with all kinds of texture is easy peasey.
I used Crisp Cantaloupe and Summer Starfruit on the flowers and then lined them in our Dazzling Details (Silver). This is a set that will come out July 1st in the new Big catalog. We got this as a gift at leadership from SU. It is a very pretty stamp set called So Very Happy. Has great images and sentiments. Very versatile set.
Well SU didn’t offer any St. Patrick’s Day stamps in this years Spring catalog but I improvised using our little heart punch to make the Shamrock. The sentiment is from our wonderful set, Teeny Tiny Wishes, from the BIG catalog on page 44. This set covers just about any Holiday you can think of. The banners and banner punch are from the SAB catalog. Sorry, that my camera did not pick up the gold that I used for background on my image and sentiment.
We will be celebrating with our traditonal Cornbeef and Cabbage dinner tonight with all the fixin’s including Irish Soda Bread, YUM! Hope y’all have a great Day and are sportin’ the green!!
I really would love your comments on this card. It was so much fun creating this. I love the animals in our sets. We sure have a lot of them. This little bunny is from the set Storybook Friends found on page 52 of the Big catalog. The flower is from the set, Peaceful Petals on page 20 of the Occasions catalog, and I paper pieced it with 6 layers. The fence I created from the background stamp Hardwood, page 37. I wanted our little bunny to appear like he was on one of those little oriental borders we see in gardens. What do you think?
The flowers on this card front are from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. With a $50 purchase you can get a sheet of cork embellishments plus 3 wheels of gorgeous twine in Pool Party, Crisp Cantaloupe and Summer starfruit. What an awesome deal! I love embellishing my cards with all different kinds of texture. Here I also used the neutrals Candy dots in the center of each flower. Hope you like it!

I guess this is a good time to remind you that we only have to the end of this month to take advantage of the FREE stuff you can get from our once a year “Sale-A-Bration Promotion”. If you don’t have a catalog, contact me HERE and I will get one to you.
Doesn’t this card look like Spring? It is really starting to get warm here and I am loving it! That’s why I chose to live in the South. However, I see on the news that we are to expect another cold front coming this way but I do hope it doesn’t last long. I am ready for hot, hot, hot weather! So while I am waiting, I can do the next best thing. Create the feeling of Spring in my cards.
I haven’t used this DSP in so long I almost forgot I had it. It is from the Big catalog and is called Etcetera. I love this stamp set for watercoloring. I used one of our wooden embellishments found on page 18 of the Occasions catalog and covered it with Retro washi tape found on 19. I then added a button to the top of it from our in-color buttons. I love a stamp set that has sentiments along with crisp images and this set (So Very Grateful), does it all, page 32. Inside it says “And I’m so very grateful”.
Again, I am on a Pistachio Pudding roll here. Although, what can you say about this gorgeous Sale-A-Bration DSP? It is so HOT right now. Especially because it goes so well with our new in-colors. So much fun to create with all the wonderful products this spring. I used crisp cantaloupe re-inker with alcohol and spritzed the silver glimmer paper to make the butterfly. I think it gives it some needed pizazz!
It seems I am hooked on Pistachio Pudding lately. I am so glad we get to keep these gorgeous in-colors for another year. They are my favs so far. However, I am sure gonna miss Summer Starfruit, gumball green and Midnight Muse. Only a few more months to use them. I used Summer Starfruit on this card for one of the flowers. Maybe they will keep it as a core color, I hope, hope, hope. And to think I disliked it so when I first saw it. Who knew? BTW, isn’t this set, Perfect Pennants, the best set of sentiments in a long time?
Okay, this was one of those sets that I was NOT going to buy. Yeah! Well I saw so much of it on the internet I knew that I just had to have it. It has some reall cool stamps in it besides sentiments. I love stamp sets that have both images and sentiments. They really are the most versatile. I used soft Sky on this card. Hope you like it!
