I made this card for Mothers day. Inside is the sentiment “so he made you. Now isn’t that perfect for Mama? Clean and Simple, CAS.
The stamp set is from Flourishing Phrases, page 24 in the AC. The image is made using the glimmer paper from Myths & Magic, page 37 in the OC. The dies, Flourish Thinlits, can be found on page 216 of the AC. I layered the whisper white CS front with basic black CS over our thick whisper white CS.
It is always good to have these cards on hand. I thought this sentiment could be used for with a sympathy card or a get well card. The sentiment is from the stamp set, Flourishing Phrases, page 24 of the annual catalog. The thinlit dies for this set can be found on pg 216, Flourishing Thinlits. This set has 15 different sentiments with beautiful images. It is a 2 pack set that is totally awesome.
I used Whisper White CS and the Turquoise Glimmer paper, found on page 37 of the Occasional catalog In addition, I used the adhesive backed multipurpose sheets, pg 203, AC, to attach the images to the CS. I colored the Rhinestones with a black sharpie.
I love this stamp set, found on page 27 of the Occasions catalog. It is another one of those awesome sets that you can bundle and receive 10% discount until the end of May. Both the set and dies are being carried over to the new catalog in June but they will not be bundled with a discount. Good time to invest in the set and save some money.
I used the embossing folder, Petal Burst, page 210 in the Annual catalog, for the background on Very Vanilla CS. The colors I used on the card are Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede. I used silver foil sheets, pg 194 to die cut the Cross. My card base is Crumb cake. Hope you like it!
If you want to make sure you get these dies for this card, you will have to order them by the end of May because they are retiring. So sad. Some of my favs. I used the stamp set Waterfront with this card and it is found on page 48 of the Occasions catalog.
This set is so versatile. For those of you, like me, living at the coast, the palm trees are especially awesome! Here I used a fall theme, only because our warm weather was so late getting to us. However, finally it has arrived, and I hope not to have our temps go below 80 from now until the end of Summer.
I used the DSP, Wood Textures, page 187 in the annual catalog, which by the way is not retiring. Woot, woot! I used the window sheets, pg 194 and the Glitter enamel dots, pg 196.
On this card, I used the die cuts,Rainbow Builder Framelits dies, page 33 of the Occasion catalog. You can save 10% right now until the end of May if you combine both the stamp set and the dies. I used the sentiment from the set, Lift me Up, pg 58. The background is Soft Sky CS which I am afraid is retiring along with the set and dies. I also used Wink of Stella, not retiring, pg 200.
Another card made with the set Magical Day, pg 37, OC. Here I colored the Unicorn with Berry Burst marker and Pink Pirouette blender. I outline the clouds and unicorn in light Pool Party Blender. I cut out the embellishments from the Magical Framelit dies, glimmer paper, and Washi tape, all on same page to finish off the card. I love the whimsical look and hope you like it too. The sentiment is from Sprinkles of Life, pg 78 AC.
I really love this set, Picture Perfect Birthday, pg 5 of the OC. It is so versatile. As you can see from previous postings I have gotten a lot of use from this set. I used the embossing folder, Simple Stripes Textured Impressions for the back ground and rolled LemonLime Twist Ink over the embossing folder before sending it through the Big Shot. I also used the beautiful 1/4″ Ombre Lemon Lime Twist ribbon, pg 198 of the AC. In addition, I used the Light Green Glimmer paper, pg 37, OC backing the Stitched Shapes circle, pg 214, AC. Colors used in the image were Basic Black, Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lime Twist.
On this card, I used 2 stamp sets, Waterfront, pg 48 of the OC and Colorful Season, pg 147 in the AC. I used the Layering Oval framelits, pg 213, AC to highlight the Palm Trees in the Waterfront set. I used Tranquil Tide ink, Crumb Cake and Marina Mist for the water. The sentiment if from Colorful Seasons and the Beach chair is cut out with the matching Seasonal Layers, pg 216 AC. Both of these sets work very well together.
I got the idea for this card from another Demostrator, Priscilla Ivler, from Stampin’ Connection. Thank you Priscella for your inspiration.
I did change the card around a little. I used the DSP Myths & Magic, pg 37 of the OC. The stamp set is Magical Day, same page. In addition, I fussy cut the soldier from the DSP. I used the dies, same page, to cut out the Dragon and the Mermaid. The sentiment is embossed in white on the DSP paper. I used the Brick embossing folder, page 210 AC, for the background. To color the images, I used Light and dark Blends. pg 30 OC, Pool Party on the Dragon and Night of Navy & Ivory on the mermaid. I layered Rich Razzelberry CS in back of the brick.
This is one of my favorite techniques when designing cards with Flowers. For this card I used the set Amazing You pg 16 of the SAB catalog. I stamped the image in Tranquil Tide and then colored it with pool party. I then used a blender pen to blend in the tranquil tide ink already on the flower. I fussy cut just the top of the flower out and glued it on top of the original image. I added a Gold faceted Gem, pg 197 AC. I used the Stitched Framelits to cut out the whisper white CS, page 214 AC and the regular Oval Framelits, same page, for the Crushed curry CS. The DSP is Whole Lot of Lovely, pg 188 AC. Celebrate is cut out with the Big Shot, pg 209 AC and the die used is from the SAB catalog, page 17. I love this set and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it. The stamps, Magical Day, page 37 of the OC and the matching Framelit Dies, Magical Mates, can be purchased as a bundle saving 10% for both. I created this card using our new Brushos, pg 26, and the new stamp set, Beautiful Day, same page. I used Watercolor paper, pg 194 and Frog Tape (non SU) to mask off the edges and create a border. I then embossed the butterfly with our copper embossing powder, page 201 of the AC, and then added the Prussian Blue & Moss Green Brusho to the butterfly. The In addition, I cut out the sentiment with the Thinlit Dies, Celebrate You, in the Sale-A-Bration catalog, pg17 using our Copper foil, page 194 of the AC. Before adding the sentiment I spritzed the paper (with the mask still attached) with water and then sprinkled Yellow and Moss green Brusho to the background of the card. I have already used this set so much. It is so awesome and so versatile. You can find it on pg 32 of the OC. It also has the matching framelits Dies (same page) and if you combine them both you can get a 10% discount on the bundle. It contains 19 dies and is such a fun bundle, I used Early Espresso, silver foil for the bottle caps and burlap ribbon. The DSP is True Gentlemen, pg 45 of the OC. In addition, I used Tranquil Tide for the sentiment and stamping the stars.

This set, Bubble over, page 32 OC, is so much fun to play with. There are 17 stamps to the set and the Bottles & Bubbles Framelits have 19 dies. You can buy this set as a bundle and get 10% off. I used Shimmery White CS, pg 194 in the AC. I also used Brusho, pg 26 OC, sprinkled on the background and then spritzing it lightly with water. Ink color is Dapper Denim.
This set is turning out to be one of my go to sets from the OC, Picture Perfect Birthday, page 5. I used the Stamparatus to perfectly place the images and the colors I used were Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Pacific Point. The background paper is from the DSP Stack Tutti Frutti 6X6, page 29 of the OC. I used both Whisper White regular and Heavy card stock for my base card.
This is one of my favorite Thinlit sets, Celebrate you pg17, from SAB. I embossed the butterfly, from Beautiful Day, pg 26 OC, with Copper embossing powder. I used watercolor paper and filled the image with water. I then sprinkled Brusho color, pg 20 OC, on the water and used an aqua painter to move the color around. Colors I used were Brilliant Red, Yellow and Gamboge. After the image was dried, I sprinkled yellow on the front of the card and gently spritzed with water to provide the background. I selected Basic Black card stock for the sentiment and cut it out with the Big shot, pg 209 of the AC. Multipurpose adhesive sheets, pg 203, AC, were used to adhere the sentiment to the card front.
I created this fun card with the stamp set, We Must Celebrate, page 39 OC. The sentiment is from the SAB catalog, page 17, which you can get FREE with a $100 purchase in product. I used Myths & Magic, glimmer paper, page 37 OC, for the sentiment. I embellished with Glitter enamel dots, page 196 AC. In addition, I used the SU Blends, page 30, OC, to color the images.
Here I covered a pizza box (carried over from the Holiday catalog – Mini pizza boxes (8) use product code 44645, $6.00) with the DSP Painted with Love, page 19 of the OC. I put this on the sides and top of the box. We made this at Camp on Saturday and everyone fell in love with this DSP. I used the Ombre ribbon, page 198, in the AC. Cut the heart out from our Gold foil paper, page 194, AC with our framelits, Sweet & Sassy page 214, AC.
I am in love with the DSP, Painted with Love, page 10 of the OC. It is my fav paper ever. I used this as background on this card stamped with last year’s stamp, Bloomin’ Love, page 88 of the AC. I used Whisper white card stock and cut out the hearts from the DSP using the Big shot Sweet & Sassy Framelits on page 214 AC. In addition, I embellished the front of the card with the Metallic Enamel shapes, page 196 of AC. I used the Framelit to cut out the banner from the set Large Numbers Framelits, page 215 of AC.
I absolutley LOVE this stamp set, Magical Day, page 37 of the OC. Right now you can get both the stamp set and the matching framelit dies, same page, for a 10% discount. I used Bermuda Bay for the background that I dry embossed with the Seaside Embossing Folder, page 210 of the AC. I used our new Rich Razzelberry SU Blends to color the mermaid and the seahorse. I stamped the image with Rich Razzleberry ink on Whisper White Card Stock. The gorgeous background of the mermaid is the DSP, Myths and Magic, same page in the OC. For embellishments I used the Glitter & Clear epoxy shapes, page 33 OC.
I love the new Sale-A-Bration (SAB) sets. I created this card with the set, Party Pandas, page 15 of the SAB catalog. The DSP, Painted with Love, is from the OC, page 19, and the hearts were cut out with gold foil paper which can be found in the AC on pg 194. I used the Big Shot, pg 209, and the Sweet & Sassy Framelits, pg 214, both in the AC. In addition, I used the Metallic Enamel Shapes, pg 196 AC. For the base card I used Thick Whisper white and the front I used our regular Whisper White card stock, both found on pg 194 AC.

I created this card using the DSP, Merry Music found on page 13 on the HC. The sentiment is from Labels to love, pg 45 along with the matching Every day label punch, pg 12, HC. The Sleigh from Santa’s Sleigh, page 119 in the AC. I used our Cooper foil paper for the sleigh cut out with the Thinlits dies from Santa’s Sleigh, page 214 AC.
I love our new embossing paste and I wanted to show you another card used with it. This set is also from the Holiday catalog, promise this is the last one for a while. It is called “Night in Bethlehem.” This is a dynamic set and cannot wait to use it with different foils. I also used the stitched shaped framelits for the sentiment.
This set is so awesome! You can find this set, Coffee Cafe’ on page 31 of the AC. It has matching dies, Coffee Cups Framelits, page 213, matching DSP, Coffee Break, page188, Corrugated Elements, page 196. It also has a Cardstock pack that matches all the colors in the DSP.

I can see this being used for SB gift cards, etc. The coffee splatter is made with our new Embossing Paste, page 201. I dyed the paste with Soft Suede ink. The stencil, however, is not SU. It is Tim Holz and I have had it a long time for use in my Art journals.

We all rec’d this set FREE at the OnStage in Savannah Georgia. It was so much fun and I couldn’t wait to get home to start playing with this set and some of the embellishments. The set, Wood Words, page 159 of the AC can be purchased with matching dies, Wood Crate framelits, page 212. You get 10% off if you bundle them. I used copper foil on this card and love the way it turned out. In addition, I used the stitched Shaped framelits, page 214. The ribbon, Copper Trim, can be found on page 199. I stretched the ribbon and layered it behind the images. I also used the copper metalic thread, 198 in back of the sentiment. The back ground is embossed with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder, page 210.
This set, Crafting Forever, you will find in the new Annual Catalog (AC), page 181. I used water color paper and our classic ink pads and an Aqua Painter, page 200. The background paper is from the new Color Theory DSP Paper stack, page 187. The dies I used are, Layering Circle Framelits, Layering Oval Framelits and Stitched Shapes Framelits, both on page 214. I used whisper White and layered these on Basic Black Card Stock, page 185.
I really love this incolor and will be sorry to see it go. But we do have some beautiful new incolors to replace the outgoing ones. Certainly makes it interesting every year. Fortunately there were no changes to our core colors this year.
I used a mint macaron wash for the background on whisper White card stock and die cut the flowers and leaves with the Stylist Stems Framelits dies on page 42 of the OC. I used the SAB glimmer paper in addition to the Mint macaron sheer ribbon found on page 178 in the AC.

I am really disappointed that this set, page 48 of the OC is retiring. As far as I know, the Build it framelits dies have already been sold out. Since this is such an awesome masculine set and it went over so well with just about all of our customers around the world, maybe SU will think of designing another set with matching dies in the future. I am hoping that maybe they will decide to come back with this set. Wouldn’t that be nice. Wishful thinking!

This was created with the stamp set Dragofly Dreams, page 26 in the OC. I used black embossing powder and tempting turouoise ink. I used the Metalic enamel shapes, page 177 of the AC. One really great set because of the fantastic sentiments and will be very versatile because of it. In addition, it has its own diecuts, Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits on the same page and can be purchased as a bundle with a 10% discount. This set will be held over, along with the thinlits to the new annual catalog. However, the bundled discount will not be available after May 31st.
My youngest, Maureen Erin (Mo), will be 29 today and I am so blessed to have such a thoughtful and loving daughter. She is also a Demonstrator and so much fun to be around. My oldest daughter, Amy, also a blessing, is a Demonstrator but she lives in TN and I do not get to see her as much. However, we all try to plan SU conventions and on stage locals together. This card was so much fun to create. It is not hard to do at all if you have the right tools. Right now you can get these Balloon pop-up Thinlits Dies, Page 5 of the OC to make this card. I used the Party Animal DSP on same page. I used the embossing Folder, Celebrations Duo found on page 40 in the OC and the sentiment inside from DragonFly Dreams, page 26.
Ok, I am obsessed with this stamp set, Nailed it, page 48, oc. I love the fact that there are die cuts that go with these stamps and I think I have made at least 5 or 6 different cards with them so far. The possibilities are endless. What I love about this set are all the embellishments, washi tape and DSP that you can use with it. These are all listed on page 47 along with the lovely embossing folder, Hexagons Dynamic Textured impressions. In addition, another stamp set in this same catalog, Urban District can also be combined to make dozens of masculine cards for Dad or the men in your life. Save 10% by buying the bundle.
