Well, I am so thankful that everything went well with my eye surgery on Thursday and glad to be back creating cards again. I can actually see and the light is SOOOOOO bright now.
This card, I designed with the Home Together Dies, pg 26 Mini Catalog (MC). The DSP is Plaid Tidings, pg 57 MC, and the die used for the sentiment is from Peek A Hoot Dies, pg 62 MC. I used Night of Navy Ink on the sentiment, from Celebration Tidings stamp set, pg 58 MC along with the In-Color Enamel dots, pg 158 AC and the Magenta Madness ribbon.
After I designed this card, I realized that the Frosted paper which I use on the bottom of the card was discontinued, sorry for that. I splattered White Craft ink refill mixed with a tiny bit of water, with an old paint brush to resemble Snow on the background DSP. Hope you like it!
Please remember you can get any of these items on my website.
Such a cheerful Christmas card! I hope you’re feeling better after your eye surgery. I’m looking into Lasix myself. Thank you so much for playing with us at SUOChallenges.com. We hope that you join us for a new challenge on August 4!
Cindy,
I had cataracts removed and also they took out the old lens and put in a new one so I don’t need glasses (far away) any more. However, because of my Macular Degeneration, I will still need to have readers. I am not a candidate for that surgery. I am having the left eye done on the 13th, so wish me luck on that one. Thanks for your comment. Patti
