Easter is early this year and we have so many darling stamps for this beautiful occassion.  I must admit that this set is probably my favorite stamp set so far.   The main idea when you buy a stamp set is ‘how many ways’ can you use this set.  With this set the possibilities are endless.  Look for more projects made with  this set.

Again, I heat embossed using white craft ink and then colored with watercolor pencils.  Speaking of heat, the weather is beautiful here right now.  I guess it’s that way over most of the eastern coast, but in South Carolina, our ornamental trees and flowers are blooming and look quite beautiful.  A lot like the colors in this card.

This time of the year when you walk along the beach there are several people out with their kites, all different shapes and sizes.  Most of them look just like this.

I guess since I used to quilt, I can never get away from putting pieces together, whether it is fabric or paper.  I used the postage Stamp punch for this card.  Hope you like it.

What a perfect name for this color, Blushing Bride. I will be so sad to see this color go after the next in-colors come out with the new catty in June. I wonder, do they still have June brides? If so, this is great card for either a shower or wedding.

I designed this card using the Side Notes on page 24 of the mini catalog.  They are so pretty and not just for scrap booking.  Of course, as you can tell by the supplies, I glued everything but the kitchen sink on this card. LOL…. Love it!

I needed a masculine card and this set really lends itself to a manly man’s card. The sky was brayered using a technique that Mo and I learned from Michelle Zindorf’s class in Savannah last October.  It was such an awesome class, that if she ever does another class in this part of the southern US, I recommend you sign up for it as soon as possible.  They fill up really fast.

This is what I mean when I tell my customers “You do not have to  be an Artist or creative, you just need to copy.”  If you look at the card in the catalog, you will see that I copied the sample right out of the book, with the exceptions of a few colors.  A good deal of what is on this card came out of the SAB catalog as items that you can get FREE.  In addition to all of the projects I post daily, all of our catalogs have hundreds of samples for you to pick from.   Easy Peasy!

I remember when this set came out, I just had to have it.  Well, believe it or not, this is the first time I used it.  It has been sitting on the shelf.  I felt like watercoloring so I looked for sets that were lined images and grabbed this one.  Not a whole lot to color but basil (blessings) is my favorite herb.  I love the sentiments that go with this set.  The inside of the card says “Thanks for blessing my life with you”.

Although I am not Irish, I am thankful that my husband is.  I love having an Irish name.  The Irish are such wonderful people.  One of the best vacations we have ever taken was our trip to Ireland, as my husband called it, visiting the old sod.  The country is so beautiful and the people so warm and friendly.  I hope to be posting more cards celebrating the Irish.
