I was inspired by Deb Valder, an SU demo on Stampin’ Connection, to create this card.  I changed a few things and this is what I came up with.  Hope you like it. OOPS! just noticed I lost one of the pearls on the bottem of the wreath, so just imagine there are 3 there.  LOL

I used our multi purpose adhesive sheets (pg 160) to put this together.  Just layer it with a piece of whisper white CS and then apply your 1/2″ strips, butted up to each other.  Cut to your specifications or use the Big shot.  You get 12 sheets of 12X12 adhesive.  An incredible buy that will last forever.

I got the inspiration for this card from Jill Olsen, another SU demonstrator on Stampin Connection.  She used different card stock, stamp set and DSP than what I used but basically the same idea.

New technique.  I found a piece of cheese cloth in with my supplies and thought before I toss this maybe I can think of something to do with it.  So I wet it and spread it out on the white card stock.  I then took champagne shimmer paint mixed with rubbing alcohol and spritzed it on the cheese cloth.  When I lifted the cheese cloth from the card stock, it left a really cool background which I used on this card and for the faux bow.  What do you think?

If you can believe it, this is the first time I have ever purchased a Snowflake stamp set.  Stampin’Up! has had many sets in the past but they just never did anything for.  Except for this set and I knew I HAD to have it.  So pretty!  I do believe you could use any color on these snowflakes and they would still look gorgeous!  I just hope they keep this set around for a while.

This is a technique I saw on Stampin’Connection by Nicole Picadura, another demonstrator.  I gold embossed it on Crumb Cake card stock.  I used our new  Gold Stampin Dazzle Marker (pg 19 Holiday catalog) to highlight the edges of the ornament.

Well, it’s official, I am now in love with this Summer Starfruit in-color. There really are so many colors that it goes well with.  You just have to try them all and keep playing around with them.

Chevron designs are all the rage right now and this card is made with our Chevron embossing folder.  I embossed the folder with versa mark and then ran it through the big shot and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.
