Well the McDermott house has really been hit hard with all kinds of sickness since we came back from Leadership. I think Typhoid Mary was at the Orlando Convention Center based on what I read on the internet, we are not the only ones that came back sick. Here is the Update!
- Jack has flu symptoms, running 104 temp & the Doctor said the flu test was negative. However, he is not well, coughing and nose blowing thing, really in bad shape.
- I tested positive for strep throat and also developed asthmatic bronchitis (which, btw, I have not had since my throat operation in 2005). Thought I was clear from ever having to use an inhaler again. So now on a stronger anti-biotic plus steroids and TWO inhalers. Naturally, I am cancelling my camp this weekend, not because I am feeling bad, because actually I am starting to feel much better. However, this house needs to be cleared out of any and all bacteria before anyone comes over. I think you will thank me for that in the long run.
Fortunately, I can still use the Mac without transferring any germs so I will continue to post some of the projects that I had planned for the camp this weekend. Hugs to you all and stay healthy!
I love that SU has categorized all of our sets and DSPs as Suites. They have the best Artists and I keep wondering how everything they showcase is a WINNER! This new catalog is loaded with beautiful suites.
Hey stampers sorry no post today, I have been trying to get over this strep throat and all the junk that comes with it but it is taking much longer than I anticipated. Hopefully, by Monday, I will start to feel like creating again and get some projects up to show you. Stayed tuned in, a few prayers would be appreciated also. Hugs, Patti
So much you can do with this set and it even has the little matching sizzlet die (not used here). I masked this little guy to fit in with the waves.
Like I forgot to take off the little square that is holding the pin wheel from getting crushed. DUH!

Well stampers we arrived yesterday and it turned out to be the trip from H–L. Started off in Walterboro with a speeding ticket and the the GPS we have got us lost trying to find the hotel. We were ready to throw it in the first lake we came to. Now today was a good day. We went to Sea World and had enough time to see the Walrus and Sea Lion Show and take in a few other sights. Hopefully, before we leave, we will get another chance to get over there and see the dolphin and the Shamu shows. The one day pass cost as much as the year round pass so we bought the year round pass, at $190 for the two of us, that was a no-brainer! We are getting ready to go over to Disney and have the clambake at the Cape May Cafe’. Tomorrow I sign into Leadership and then in the evening we go to the Harry Potter thing. Looking forward to that and to seeing some of my fellow demos, including my good buddy, Michelle Ratliff, who is also in my downline. More later. See Ya!

This is going to be so much fun. SU has reserved the The Wizarding World of Harry Potter exclusive just for us on Thursday evening. That is one of the perks of being a demonstrator, we get to go on all the rides & attractions without all the wait, etc. OMG how special is that?

I have used the new Doily tape found on pg 3 of the Spring catalog. It is so cool, it has adhesive on it and you just cut what size you need. Simple as that. The other doilies on this card are found on pg 5 and what a bargain they are @24 for $2.95. I also used some items from the Artisan Embellishments kit on pg 10. That has to be my favorite so far!
This “From my Heart” stamp set is so awesome! AND I love the new ribon in the Spring catalog on page 13.
These two cards are made with a stamp set from SAB and the second one also has some ribbon from available during SAB. Couldn’t resist throwing these in early.
