I watercolored this image as I did the one I recently posted, but I changed the format of how I assembled the card, and used the Big Shot for almost all of the design elements.
Well, Jack and I are on the Golf coast just outside Fort Myers for a little R&R. My husband has been a Red Sox fan since he was old enough to walk and play baseball so we try to go to Spring Training as often as we can to see them play. I must admit, I love base ball too! Since Fort Myers in Florida is a lot closer that Boston, we try to see them play down here.
We will stop off in Orlando for one night so we can go to Sea World. When we were there last month for Leadership, we didn’t get a chance to see much so hopefully, we can see a little more of that while we are down that way, and it breaks up the drive. It is possible that we may stop on the way back also.

This is so cool. It is a die that you use in your BS to create this pop up stand up card. The first picture of course is the front of the card and the second picture is when you open it up it reveals the cutest dress form. Okay, I guess he isn’t so little but he is so stinkin’ cute! “Henry Says” is on page 15 of the Spring catalog and you can even use this for Christmas, Valentine’s Day and PARTY! So versatile!
I actually bought this stamp set “You Rule!” to use on a 3D project that I was making for the Artisan Design Team. However, after I bought it and used it how I wanted to in my project, I changed my mind and went with something else. That ever happen to you? You have something in your mind that you want to make and when you put it together, it’s a bust! Oh well, it didn’t go unused, I like the way it goes with this set “Clockworks”.
I was not going to buy this stamp……no will power! After I saw all the wonderful things they were doing on the net I just had to have it and try myself. This is a technique call Thumping that a demonstrator, Glenda Calkins showed on Stampin’Connection. I love the way it came out!
Easter comes early this year so I am going to start posting Easter cards so you can get some ideas for your own cards.

I thought that the DSP, ‘For the Birds’, really lent itself to Easter, with the colors and little chicks and eggs. What do you think?
WOW! Try saying that time 3 times fast! I made this card using the Canvas that is on page 21 of the Spring catalog. I used the watercolor crayons and an aqua painter to blend the background. This technique was demonstrated on Stampin’ Connection by Glenda Calkins, another SU demonstrator. I then frayed all four edges of the canvas adding another dimension.
This set is in the BIG catalog and is called Flock Together and matches our DSP, Birds of a Feather! I used the sentiments from SAB Bloomin’ Marvelous!
This is so stinkin cute! Love the little bandaid stamp. I used the smallest heart from the embossilit die, Fashionable Hearts.
On this card I used the Delicate Details Lace Tape. It is so cool and fun to play with. I separated the sentiment and put it on a banner. This background paper is also from the Spring catalog and you get 48 double sided 4 1/2″x 6 1/2″ sheets of DSP, 4 each of 12 different designs. Incredible buy!
Another Patterned Occasion stamp. I love stamps that have the sentiment with it. So easy and saves lots of time searching for a sentiment!

Have you ever wondered with the new age (GPS) what to do with your old Maps? How about using them for backgrounds on your greeting card, in your scrapbooks, or 3D items. How about covering old lamp shade with maps? I love the idea of sponging the maps with soft suede ink and giving it that vintage look. I used to make these baby memory cans for people that I worked with and sell them for $35. It included the can with all the baby firsts, the poem, the can opener, matching pen and milestone cards for them to write on. They told me they were always the “Hit of the baby shower”.
In addition, I included a 3″x3″ gift card and a very vanilla bracket to personalize the baby’s name on the top of the can. However, the last 2 years I have turned this project over to my Daughter Maureen, who is also a demonstrator. This memory can below is made by her.
You will also note that I made the little Tooth Fairy box out of our button and brads containers for an additional fee. All of the stamps that I used for these were from 2000 and 2004 (all retired). The tooth Fairy stamp was just a couple of years ago I believe but also retired. These are all stamp sets that I could never part with. They are so versatile. Mo and I just went to Tiffany’s baby shower and this is how I wrapped my gift for her baby. I used Birds of a Feather DSP and the Primrose petal ribbon and inks. Second picture is the 3″ x 3″ gift card I made to attach to the side of the bag with baby clothespins. Hope you like it. Hugs, Patti

This time I scrunched up the doilie and then hot glued the dyed flower trim with Pool party ink refills and rubbing alcohol. Love, love love, these two colors together.

I cased this lovely little chocolate box from another demo, Martha Lucia Gomez on Stampin’ Connection. She used a little wooden clothespin and I used the Crumb cake taffeta ribbon for closure. Thank you Martha for the great video (even though it was in Spanish) that inspired me. It fits perfectly, three (3) Chocolate Nuggets if you stand them on on ends, side by side. Really awesome teacher gift for Valentine’s day.

Okay this is just another stamp from the set Bloomin Marvelous, Sale-A-Bration. This is probably the most versatile set that SU had designed in a while. I have already made over 12 cards with just his one set. I love a set that contains both images and sentiments, don’t you?
