Crafting Up the Coast

I love our stamps that are open line art so that I can use my aqua painters or blender pens on them.  I have never outgrown coloring.  Relieves all the stress!

This card I created with the background stamp Pleasant Poppies.  I cut out the blossoms and re-arranged them on the honeycombed base to change it up a little.  This set is made for water coloring if you like that technique.  However, I colored this with my aqua painters but used whisper white card stock instead of watercolor paper.  You just have to make sure that you don’t soak the paper like you would with W/C paper.  Try it, it’s fun!

The name of this DSP is called Gingham Garden and it is so gorgeous!  Every sheet is lovely back and front.  You will love making cards with this.  So simple and yet so elegant!

Not too early to start thinking of Father’s Day.  This was one of the cards we made at Saturday’s Camp.  Hope you like it.

We made this card as one of our projects for this month’s stamp camp.  We had two new stampers this month and I am so happy that they spent their Saturday morning with us.   Since they both said they really enjoyed the projects we did, I am hoping to see more of them.  Welcome Pamela and Kerri.

Mo was over working on her swaps for convention and we were playing around with some of the new stuff.   I put this card together with some scraps that she had laying on the table and some left over stuff from my camp.

Besides using This & That items in a squash book I also used them on this Epic card.  I love using the washi tape.

I created this using a lot of scraps and left over stuff.  Although the colors in this are Pool party and Calypso Coral, they do look a lot like some of the new in-colors.  Funny how they are now two of our new CORE colors.  Interesting!

You are going to love this clay which is a new product that SU is offering in the new Catalog starting June 1st.  It is soooo easy to use.  It is made by filling the molds with the clay and they pop out ready to use on your project.  Here I colored it with one of our new in-colors, Strawberry Slush.  Look for a lot of this in my samples, I am sold on it!

This is another stamp from the Best of Brides and Babies set.  In addition, a new set (Label Love) that is being released with the new catalog that comes with a new Artisan Label punch.   So cool!

Okay this is one of the clean and simple cards that so many people like.  If you have been following me long enough you know I am not a CAS stamper.  I just keep piling on, 1 or 2 layers are never enough for me.LOL  I think this is a great masculine card! What do you think?

Not only do these colors sound delicious they are beautiful together.  You are going to love our new in-colors.  I know you are going to be sick of seeing these two colors by the time the catalog comes out…or maybe not!LOL

I love these new incolors.  I used Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantelope together and the new Artisan Punch.

I really feel like I didn’t use this gorgeous DSP enough and now that it is retiring, I am scrambling to use it, especially since I have sooooo much of it.  It lends itself to vintage technique that I am so fond of.

I have really enjoyed using this stamp set with the matching punch.  There is so much variety with 11 stamps in this set.  You can purchase this after June 1st from the new catalog.

This card was created using the embossing folders on page 5 of the Spring catalog.  I sponged the card with Soft suede ink.

I just realized how much I have gone to this background paper for Mother’s Day.  It is amazing how much the background changes when the base card color is changed.

We just traveled to TN for my Granddaughter’s First Holy Communion and this is a card I made especially for it.

This is a card I designed for the Artisan Design Team contest and then decided I didn’t like it well enough to enter it.  What do you think?

I created this card with a new Hostess set to be released in the new catalog coming out in June.  This set has so many beautiful images that you can water color.  I just love it!  In addition, this is the new DSP called Gingham Garden.

These flowers are also from the secret Garden collection.  You can get them with the dies in a bundle and save some money.  Page 17 in the Spring Catalog.

This set was part of a bundle that I got for free from SU for being a Manager.  It came with the embossing folder, matching DSP, and the coolest matching punch.   Love it!

I love vintage and you know if you follow me that it is one of my favorite techniques.  This color is summer starfruit and I love how it looks when it is sponged with Soft suede.
