Crafting Up the Coast

Hey Stampers, I rec’d my box of new products today and I am having a blast! On this card I used the new embossing folder Tiny Triangles, the 2 new Bigz Dies Flower Frenzy and Party Pennants.  You know you are going to see a lot of my new stuff in the next few days.  So excited!  BTW, I used no stamps on this card.

Saturday, Mo came over so we could work on our swaps for convention.  Well, the one card that I designed she liked it but said I could do better.  Huh!!!!!

She of course, finished one of her swaps but I am still working on mine because naturally I couldn’t go with the one I had plan on going with.  BTW, I posted that card yesterday in case you want to see it.  You tell me what you think.  Don’t sugar coat it now!

This is another card I created using the new Maritime DSP papers.  I love this set of papers, especially the Red, White, Blue and Coastal Cabana.  I bought extra of this for the 4th so I can make some patriotic cards with it.  All of our new DSPs can be found on pages 184 through 187.  Just beautiful!   Need a catalog?  Contact me HERE.

This card was created using a mask.  The colors are our new in-colors and the stamp set, Zoo Babies, can be found on page 78.  The background stamp is World Map, found on page 38.  Both stamps have been carried over to the new catalog along with lots of more new stuff for you to craft with.  Contact me here to find out how to get some FREE.

I know this hashtag stuff is all the rage right now but I still don’t know what it means.  Even though my daughter has explained this to me (something about instagram, I think) I still don’t get it.  But, I wanted to use it on a card for camp Saturday.
I sponged vellum with matching inks and punched the flower out with one of the new punches from Itty Bitty Punch Pack.  This replaces the pack that just retired.  SWEET!  I also used the new photopolymer alphabet.

This is one of the card projects we made at camp on Saturday.  I am so glad that SU decided to carry over this these Starburst framelits.  I have used the fool out of them.  It has been a long time since I used Marina Mist and I love it with red and white.

I love these colors together.  We made this card at my Friday night hostess club.  Everything on this card is current.  Although, that pretty lace trim is being retired.  Look for the reduced prices in the retired stamps and accessories here.

We made this card at Saturday’s camp.  These are some of the NEW in-colors.  What do you think?  The hearts are full strength from the ink pad and the swishes are all stamped off.  Won’t be long and you will have these available to purchase.

I am so glad that they carried this set over in the new catalog.  I colored this with our new blendabilities.  These markers will not be available for a while but good things are worth waiting for.  I used Lullaby DSP from the new catty and the twine is new for our in colors from last year.  I love it.

It’s hard to see but I detailed this card with our Dazzling Details but it does not show up this picture.  So pretty in real life.  Everything was cut out with the matching framelits.  Love it!  So easy!

These are more stamps from the set, Sea Street.  You know that you are going to see me use this a lot in the next couple of weeks.   That way you can see how versatile the set is.

I love these new paper straws that they are selling in some of the stores.  They sell them in different colors.  These kinda look like our Sahara Sand.  I attached the little flags punched out from our Moonlight DSP pad.  Man, I love this Stamp set, Sea Street!  We will be able to get all the new stuff starting June 2nd.  Can’t wait!

When my children were small, I used to take their fingers and stick it in ink and apply it to the greeting card.  I drew little stick figures out of them and put their names next to them (as in this photo).  Everyone loved them and thought it was extra special, and the kids thought that it was fun.  Except it took forever to get the ink off those little fingers. LOL
I used the NEW Bigz Die (Hamburger box) to cut out the hearts from Watercolor Wonder DSP.

Mother’s Day is here and I got the inspiration for this card from a demonstrator on Stampin’Connection.  I change it around a little and used Melon Mambo for the Flowers and Gumball Green.  Wish I could remember her name to give her credit.
I used the Petite Petals stamp set and punch and Gorgeous Grunge, all of which are being carried over in the new book.  We made this card at my club on Wednesday.
