Today I want to show you how to create six different cards out of one stamp set with a few additional supplies. The Perennial Birthday Stamp Set (item 146850) is excellent for that because it offers six different sentiments. Plus, it has filigree flowers. It’s THE perfect stamp set!
These cards are all about stamping; the flowers look amazing on the Whisper White Cardstock (item 106549)!
I made the square tag for the bottom card using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies (item 145372) and the Big Shot (item 143263). The Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (item 143231) adds a wonderful 3D effect.
I used the following ink colors to stamp my cards: Smoky Slate (item 137179), Dapper Denim (item 141394), Pool Party (item 126982), Peekaboo Peach (item 141398), and Melon Mambo (item 126948). Then, I added a few dabs of color using Stampin’ Write Markers! (The Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes (item 145632) look like little dewdrops, don’t you think?)
At the bottom of the card, I colored the stamped image with markers (since markers allow you to use different colors). Don’t you love those little dewdrops?
I punched a hole in the bottom card using the 2″ Circle Punch (item 133782), then arranged the flowers around the circle. This is where the Iridescent Sequins (item 144212) go.
As you see, there are endless ways of arranging the flowers and sentiments! On the bottom card, I stamped the sentiment on an extra strip of Whisper White Cardstock and stamped the leaves under the strip. I then arranged the flowers around the sentiment.
I hope you’ve enjoyed these projects, and that I’ve inspired you to make your own cards with the Perennial Birthday Stamp Set!
