I think this is one of the most beautiful stamp sets, “Peaceful Nativity”, pg 17 MC, that has come out for the Holidays. On this card, I used Shimmery White Card Stock. I did a watercolor wash with Night of Navy and Misty Moonlight. I then splattered white craft ink, mixed with a little water, on the background to resemble snow. I white embossed the sentiment. The base card is Thick Whisper White.
Other Blends I used to color the images were Calypso Coral, Seaside Spray, Ivory, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, So Saffron, and Petal Pink. Look for lots more cards created with this set and the dies. Right now you can get both the bundle of stamps and dies with a 10% discount. Go HERE to see more.
These little treat holders are made with the Little Treat Box Dies, pg 70 MC. They are so easy to make. I highly recommend them for all your holiday treat giving.
I used Basic Black and Rich Razzelberry Card stock for the boxes and then embellished them with Bumblebee and Pumpkin Pie Card Stock. Everything on these cute little boxes are done with these awesome dies. You can get 2 boxes out of every full sheet of card stock, plus have left overs for the cute little cut outs that come with the die pack. They cover several of the Holidays.
The Glittered Organdy ribbon can be found on pg 160 AC.
Well, I am so thankful that everything went well with my eye surgery on Thursday and glad to be back creating cards again. I can actually see and the light is SOOOOOO bright now.
This card, I designed with the Home Together Dies, pg 26 Mini Catalog (MC). The DSP is Plaid Tidings, pg 57 MC, and the die used for the sentiment is from Peek A Hoot Dies, pg 62 MC. I used Night of Navy Ink on the sentiment, from Celebration Tidings stamp set, pg 58 MC along with the In-Color Enamel dots, pg 158 AC and the Magenta Madness ribbon.
After I designed this card, I realized that the Frosted paper which I use on the bottom of the card was discontinued, sorry for that. I splattered White Craft ink refill mixed with a tiny bit of water, with an old paint brush to resemble Snow on the background DSP. Hope you like it!
Please remember you can get any of these items on my website.
Dear friends, just a heads up that you will not get postings for a while because I am having eye surgery tomorrow and as soon as things are “Looking Good”, (little pun there), I will resume my postings. Until then, enjoy the new catalog and the new mini which you should have received by now.
This is another card created with the set “Nothing’s Better Than”, pg 91. This set is so awesome and yet so versatile. It has wonderful images plus loads of great sentiments. It has matching dies and can be bundled for a 10% discount. On this card I used the DSP, In Good Taste, pg 148, Whisper White Card Stock and Early Espresso CS for the base card. I used the Gilded Gems, pg 157, and the Dies Stitched So Sweetly, pg 179, for the sentiments. The inks I used were Ivory, Early Espresso and Cinnamon Cider Blends. Hope you like this and would love it if you shared your comments. All of these items can be purchased here.
I created this card from the set “Nothing’s Better Than”, pg 91. This set is so versatile, you can make so many different cards with it. Colors I used on this card were, Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade, Seaside Spray, Magenta Madness, and Daffodil Delight Blends. You can bundle this set with the matching Dies and save 10% on the cost. Card Stock is Whisper White, Granny Apple Green and thick Whisper White for the base card. Rhinestones are colored with Dark Granny Apple Green Blends. I used the Stitched Leaves Dies from the New Mini.
This card was designed for this month’s SUO Challenge which required coloring. Images are from the stamp set, “Jar of Flowers” pg 10-13, Flower for every Season Suite.
So I colored these beautiful flowers with our Blends, Bumblebee, Old Olive, & Cinnamon Cider. The background if embossed with the Pinewood Planks 3D, pg 185, and the sentiment is from Banner Year in the new Mini catalog. Card Stock used was Whisper White, Bumblebee, and Soft Seafoam embossed with the folder Seabed 3D, pg 185, and sponged with Mossy Meadow ink.
I love the new plaid DSP that is coming out in the new Mini. The colors are absolutely beautiful. Here I used the stamp set, Floral Essence, pg 118. I used Magenta Madness and Bumblebee ink to color the images, along with Misty Moonlight. These are all new In-colors. The base card is Seaside Spray and the lovely ribbon is Magenta Madness also. I cut the sentiment out with the new Dies from the Mini, Peek a Hoot Dies. You are going to love them.
This card was created using the set Bloom & Grow, pg 116. The Background is from the Embossing Folder Brick & Mortar 3D, pg 184, on whisper white CS. This is backed on Shaded Spruce CS. The sentiment is die cut from the Ornate Layers, pg 177. Colors I used on the image are Pretty Peacock and Shaded Spruce. Base Card is Thick Whisper White. I embellished the image with our Rhinestones, which I colored with Shaded Spruce Blends. You can get all these items from HERE.
Technique That I haven’t done in a while.
Now, I have to admit I did not buy the entire suite, “Flowers for every Season”, pgs 10-13. I did not get the stamp set Celebrate Sunflowers. However, I did buy the Coordinating Sunflower Dies, pg 175, to create this card. I am so wild about these dies that I may end up buying the stamp set just to be able to use all the dies in this set. The matching DSP is “Flowers for Every Season”. The sentiment which is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink is from Ornate Thanks, pg 66. Sunflower is cut with Whisper White CS, Bumblebee CS, and Cinnamon Cider, which is embossed with the embossing Folder, Tasteful Textile 3D, pg 185. Card Base is thick Whisper White.

This is another card designed from the small catalog, Make Beautiful Things. It can be found on page 7. This catalog features a ton of products for beginners. However, I have been a demo for over 17 years and I love the stuff they put in it. For instance, if you are a beginner, you can get this entire suite for $58.25 which includes the stamp set, a clear block D, Whisper White Card Stock and 8 different ink spots. All you need for this is adhesive and you are good to go. In addition, the sentiments are awesome!
I designed this card for my Friday night club. This card is basically the same (see yesterday’s post for information). The only difference is the background DSP. When you run out of paper you always have the option of using something else. Of course, SU has so many to choose from there is never a problem and all of our colors are matching for all of our products.
This is a card that we made in our Wednesday morning club. The set is from Arrange a Wreath, pg 127 and the dies are from Wreath Builder Dies. In addition, I used the flower punch, small bloom pg 165, and a die from Trio of Tags, pg 183. Ink used was Misty Moonlight, ribbon was Just Jade. Flowers were cut from So saffron and Flirty Flamingo. Background paper is DSP from Flowers for every season. Card base is Whisper White thick CS. I centered the flowers with the Champagne Rhinestones Basic Jewels, pg 156. You can go here to see products.
Wishing everyone a happy and safe 4th of July!
This is definitely a CAS card. The only stamping on this card is the sentiment from “Cute Fruit”, pg 7 of the Beginners Brochure. Everything else is from the “”Flowers for Every Season” suite, pgs 10-13 (DSP & Dies). The Champagne Foil can be found on pg, 153. I used Dafodil Delight and Mossy Meadow Card Stock for the dies cuts. Early Espresso for the center of the daisy. So much fun to play with these dies. Base card is early Espresso. You can find these products here.
“Cute Fruit” is the name of the set and on this card I did a little masking just to add more of a still life effect to the card. I do have a video of how to do masking and you can see it here.
I backed the whisper white front on Mossy Meadow CS embossed with the new Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing folder, pg 185 AC. The card base is Magenta Madness. Inks I used are Mossy Meadow, Magenta Madness, Mango Medley, Granny Apple Green, and Dafodil Delight. The dies I used to cut out the sentiment were from Tasteful Labels, pg 149 AC.
You can see the Beginner’s Brochure HERE. They have lots more to select from if you are a just starting out.
This stamp set you can only get through the Beginner’s Brochure. The name of it is “Cute Fruit” on pg 7. I stamped the images on Whisper white CS and the inks I used were Magenta Madness, Mossy Meadow, Mango Medley and Petal Pink. I used the light gray granite blend for the bottom.
This is considered a clean and simple (CAS) card. Very easy to make. I did have to fussy cut the Pineapple but that was pretty easy. I backed the front of the card on Magenta Madness CS and the base card is Whisper White Thick CS. I embellished the front of the card with sequins (retired).
