The first chance I got when the new annual catalog came out was to purchase this entire suite, “Come Sail Away”, pg 145. It includes all the DSP, Twine, Stamp Set, Dies, Embellishments, and Memories & More card pack. All at a 10% discount.
On this card, I used Balmy Blue CS that I embossed with the High Seas 3D Embossing Folder, pg 198 AC, and then added the White Stampin’ Chalk Marker, pg `81, AC to accent the waves. I stamped the sail boat with Night of Navy Ink, pg 162 AC, and colored the boat with Crumb cake ink. I Used Sea Side Spray for the clouds and cut the label out with Stitched so Sweetly Dies, pg 20 SC. Card stock used was Night Of Navy, and Whisper White. Thick CS was used for the card base, pg 169 AC.
You will be seeing more of this suite on my Blog, for sure.
I created this birthday card with the set “Bonanza Buddies” pg 34, SC. For those of you that do not like fussy cutting, it has matching dies and right now if you bundle the set and dies, you will save 10%.
These little guys are so adorable and they are all over the internet if you want to go surfing and check it out.
I added the Palm Trees from the set “Timeless Tropical,” pg 40. Colors I used were Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede, Smokey Slate, and Crushed Curry. I washed the background (Shimmery White) with Balmy Breeze. Card stocks that I used were Whisper White, Shimmery White and Crushed Curry.
This is a great Easter set, pg 102 AC, but can be used for other events also. The darling images are so adorable you could almost hug them. I created this card using this sweet bunny and stamped him on Water color paper, with Stazon. I colored him with our Aqua Painters, pg 180 AC, using our ink pads. I made pallets in the covers of the ink pads so I could control the amount of color I wanted to use. Colors I used were Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Daffoldil Delight and Petal Pink. Card stock is Very Vanilla and Petal Pink.
The background paper is Perennial Essence, pg 166 AC, and the layers of card stock were cut out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies, pg 196 AC. The background is embossed using the Basket Weave Embossing Folder on pg 198 AC, and I embellished it with our beautiful Organdy Striped Ribbon, pg 174 AC. Please feel free to comment, I am always interested in what you think.
This month, having to be confined to the house, and staying away from friends and family, I was not able to hold my monthly Stamp Camp. This was very sad because I was so excited to share this beautiful 3D project with all of my friends. So here I have posted it, with the supplies used, so you can make it on your own.
The first part of the project, of course is the lovely little purse made with the dies, “All Dressed UP”, pg 56 of the SC. I am totally in love with these dies, they are so awesome. The Card stock I used was Pretty Peacock, pg 164 AC. The buckles were made with Silver Foil paper found on pg 169 AC. The DSP, unfortunately, was from the SAB catalog which you are not able to purchase now, but be assured, any of our lovely DSPs will do. I used Pretty Peacock ink for all of the sentiments and Whisper White Card stock.
The note cards are made with Whisper White Card Stock and I used the same DSP as above. The envelopes can be found on pg 168 AC. I cut the Whisper White card stock 3′ X 6″ and scored at 3″ to fit in the note card envelopes. Then I pasted the DSP (cut at 2 7/8″ X 2 7/8″) to layer on the front of the note card base. I embellished the notes cards with Ornate Framed Dies, #150664, (carried over from the Holiday catalog). I embellished the note cards with Rose Metallic Thread, pg 172 AC, and Noble Peacock Rhinestones, pg 178 AC.
I hope you have fun creating your own little Note Card Purse.
Mono Chromatic is always good technique when designing a card, especially if you are limited in inks. As you can see I used inks from the Neutrals Collection, Soft Suede, pg 162, AC. This stamp set is called “Positive Thoughts” and can be found on pg 23, of the SC. It also has matching dies, “Nature Thoughts” introduced during SAB, so I am hoping that they carry this over to the next catalog.
I used Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, and Soft Suede Card Stock. The Sentiment is stamped on Very Vanilla, punched out with the 1 1/2″ Circle Punch, pg 187 AC, and layered on a die from “Stitched Label Dies”, pg 195 AC. I embellished the front of the card with sequins, Gingham Galla, pg 178 AC and Washi Tape, pg 172 AC.
OOPS, just realized I left out the “o” in McDermott when I signed my card. One of the pit falls from being cooped up for so long in the house and trying to photo and post as many as I can, fast as I can. LOL
“Magnolia Lane”, pg 36 AC, one of the reasons I love this set so much is that here in the south, these magnificent blooms are everywhere. They are so beautiful. This entire suite is loaded with beautiful paper and embellishments. The stamp set, “Good Morning Magnolia” is so versatile that you can make tons of great cards, just from this one set, because of the wonderful sentiments that are included.
I created this card with the DSP and cut the blooms with the matching dies. I used the Stamping Blends, Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow, pg 179. I stamped the sentiment on Whisper White CS with Mossy Meadow and cut this out using the Stitched Nested Dies, pg 196. I embellished the front of the card with the Noble Peacock Rhinestones, pg 178.
Well, today is the first day, in over a week, that I actually got in the car and drove to Costco. I got there at 7:40AM and hardly no one was there. They were letting us in early (supposed to be 8-9 for seniors). They were only letting 25 people in at a time, I know this because I was #25 and they told the people in back of me that they had to wait until someone, already in the store, left before they could go in. So that was nice and I felt safe. Of course, I wore rubber gloves and had a scarf over my face since I don’t own a face mask.
After I left the store, I trashed the gloves and drove home with the few items that I only get from Costco. I was done shopping in 30 minutes. Arriving home, I sprayed everything, items that can be disinfected, changed my clothes, and washed my hands, without touching my face.
I have my regular groceries delivered from Harris Teeter and Publix. Shopping online is so much cheaper, even though we don’t usually get the sale prices, I have found that I only order stuff I need and do not pick up everything I see.
Staying confined to the house does have it’s perks. I have organized my craft room a bit, been doing some serious stamping and working on my art journal. I have even surfed some of the blogs of other demo’s which I usually don’t ever get time to do.
I hope y’all are getting through all this safely and without too much trouble. I have doing a lot praying for my family and my stamping’ buddies. I miss all y’all so much and can’t wait til we can get together again. Stay in touch and keep stamping! Hugs, Patti
This is a new release from 2020 catalog that you can purchase now. You will love this. Discount of 10% available if you bundle.
Stampers will love this set. You can find “Timeless Tulips”, on pg 43, of the SC, and It has a matching punch. If you buy the bundle you can save 10%. I used the Stamping’ Blends, Night Of Navy, pg 179, AC, to color the tulips. The designer paper, “See A Sihouette”, is on pg 166. Card stock used is Whisper White and I embellished the card with the Leaves Trinkets found on pg 177. In addition, I used the Stitched Rectangular Dies, pg196.
By the way, the sentiments from this set cover a wide range of occasions, even Easter. You might want to pick this up before it sells out. Hope you like it.
I created this card with the set “Honey Bee”, pg 30 in the SC. I used the matching dies to cut out the images. I used gold foil paper, pg 169 in the AC with Whisper White regular and heavy CS. Colors I used are Memento Black, Pineapple Punch, Crumb Cake and Pear Pizzazz. I used the Stitched Label Framelit Dies, pg 195 AC, for the sentiment.
I absolutely love this set, “Beautiful Moments”, pg 28, SC because the images and sentiments are the best. Y’all know how I love to watercolor, which is what I did here.
I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies, pg 196 and Watercolor paper, Whisper White Heavy and Flirty Flamingo CS. I stamped the images with Stazon Jet Black Ink, pg 180 AC. I made pallets of ik on the covers of the classic ink pads, Flirty Flamingo, Real Red, Pacific Point, Pool Party, Crumb Cake and Petal Pink for the skin tone.
The sentiment is stamped on Whisper White CS, die cut with The Stitched Labels dies, pg 195 of the AC. I colored the clear epoxy droplets with the Flirty Flamingo Blends, pg 179 of the AC.
I just love this set “Painted Poppies”, pg 26 of the SC. I also used the small daisies from the SAB set “Thoughtful Blooms”, pg 12, punched out with the matching Small Bloom Punch, pg 13. The dies used on this card are from “Poppy Moments”, pg 27 of the SC. Paper used is Whisper White regular and Thick CS, and Basic Black.
In addition, I used the Corrugated 3D embossing folder, pg 198 AC and the Rectangular Dies, pg 196 in the AC. I colored the flowers with our Stampin’ Blends, Balmy Blue, pg 179 AC. Sentiment is from the Hostess set, “Make a Splash” in the SC.
This card was created using the stamp set, “By the Dock” found on pg 49 of the SC. The dock and the boat were cut out with the matching dies, Dockside dies. Colors used were Pool Party, Memento Black, Soft Suede, and Night of Navy, I also used the Rectangular dies, found on pg 196 of the AC. Paper used was Whisper white heavy CS, Pool Party, and Shimmery White CS.
HELLO everybody!! It has been so long since I have been able to post on this site and this morning I got it all straightened out with Hostgator and now we are good to good (I hope). I am so glad to be able to start posting again. I am hoping that you will enjoy my posts also. Especially with all the time I have now be confined to the house, I plan on doing a lot of posting.
In addition, I hope all my Stamping and Crafting families are well and following all the guidelines our President and his staff of well qualified individuals have set up for all of us. This is def a great time to gt all that stamping done, including maybe even starting your Christmas cards early this year. Our annual catalog has many sets available and if you need any of our catalogs, please contact me to get them. As always, your comments are appreciated.

WISHING ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY A HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
I made this card for Mothers day. Inside is the sentiment “so he made you. Now isn’t that perfect for Mama? Clean and Simple, CAS.
The stamp set is from Flourishing Phrases, page 24 in the AC. The image is made using the glimmer paper from Myths & Magic, page 37 in the OC. The dies, Flourish Thinlits, can be found on page 216 of the AC. I layered the whisper white CS front with basic black CS over our thick whisper white CS.
This card was created from the set, Fruit Basket, page 29 of the Occasional catalog. The fruit was stamped and cut out with the matching punches, Itty Bitty Punch pack, same page. I used the layering Square Framelits, page 214 of the Annual catalog to cut out the bases for the fruit. The DSP is from the Pick a Pattern, pg 188.
I used Emerald Envy CS for the backing of the sentiment and Squares. The Glitter enamel Dots, page 196, were used to embellish the sentiment. The doilies have been retired which I did not realized until I finished the card. So sorry, I hate when that happens.
Both the set and the punch pack can be purchased through the end of May with a 10% discount and after that, both will be retired.
It is always good to have these cards on hand. I thought this sentiment could be used for with a sympathy card or a get well card. The sentiment is from the stamp set, Flourishing Phrases, page 24 of the annual catalog. The thinlit dies for this set can be found on pg 216, Flourishing Thinlits. This set has 15 different sentiments with beautiful images. It is a 2 pack set that is totally awesome.
I used Whisper White CS and the Turquoise Glimmer paper, found on page 37 of the Occasional catalog In addition, I used the adhesive backed multipurpose sheets, pg 203, AC, to attach the images to the CS. I colored the Rhinestones with a black sharpie.
I love this stamp set, found on page 27 of the Occasions catalog. It is another one of those awesome sets that you can bundle and receive 10% discount until the end of May. Both the set and dies are being carried over to the new catalog in June but they will not be bundled with a discount. Good time to invest in the set and save some money.
I used the embossing folder, Petal Burst, page 210 in the Annual catalog, for the background on Very Vanilla CS. The colors I used on the card are Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede. I used silver foil sheets, pg 194 to die cut the Cross. My card base is Crumb cake. Hope you like it!
If you want to make sure you get these dies for this card, you will have to order them by the end of May because they are retiring. So sad. Some of my favs. I used the stamp set Waterfront with this card and it is found on page 48 of the Occasions catalog.
This set is so versatile. For those of you, like me, living at the coast, the palm trees are especially awesome! Here I used a fall theme, only because our warm weather was so late getting to us. However, finally it has arrived, and I hope not to have our temps go below 80 from now until the end of Summer.
I used the DSP, Wood Textures, page 187 in the annual catalog, which by the way is not retiring. Woot, woot! I used the window sheets, pg 194 and the Glitter enamel dots, pg 196.
On this card, I used the die cuts,Rainbow Builder Framelits dies, page 33 of the Occasion catalog. You can save 10% right now until the end of May if you combine both the stamp set and the dies. I used the sentiment from the set, Lift me Up, pg 58. The background is Soft Sky CS which I am afraid is retiring along with the set and dies. I also used Wink of Stella, not retiring, pg 200.
Another card made with the set Magical Day, pg 37, OC. Here I colored the Unicorn with Berry Burst marker and Pink Pirouette blender. I outline the clouds and unicorn in light Pool Party Blender. I cut out the embellishments from the Magical Framelit dies, glimmer paper, and Washi tape, all on same page to finish off the card. I love the whimsical look and hope you like it too. The sentiment is from Sprinkles of Life, pg 78 AC.
