This is another suite in the new Annual Catalog. I bought the entire suite because I love it! The Stamp set “Beautiful World” has wonderful images and really great sentiments. When you purchase this bundle, stamps & Dies you will get a 10%. However, if you purchase the entire suite, you will also get a 10% discount on everything in the suite, including the DSP, Embossing Folder, Faux Suede Trim, Chrome Foil Sheets, World of Good Memories & More Card Packs, and the gorgeous Antiqued Corners and Slides. That is a lot for 10% off. Such a deal!
I embossed the card front with the embossing folder Old World Paper, used the dies on the bottom corner of the card front and the world map. I used the Chrome foil sheets on the globe and the beautiful DSP. You are going to love this suite.
You can still get retired items here.
The background paper on this card is from the DSP, In Good Taste. The flowers, sentiment and branches are from the set, “Tasteful Touches”. They are stamped in Soft Suede ink and colored with our blends, Petal Pink.
The branches are cut from Crumb Cake CS, with the punch, Sprig, which is being carried over to the new catalog. I used the braided Trim on the front, also being carried over. The card base is Petal Pink.
Please go HERE if you are interested in purchasing any of our products that may be retiring by the end of this month.
This card was created using the “In Good Taste” suite which is centered around the most beautiful textures ever. The sentiment is from the stamp set “tasteful Touches”. The background is embossed with the folder, Tasteful Textures Embossing Folder on Very Vanilla CS. The elements on the front of the card are out out with the matching dies, Tasteful Labels Dies from the beautiful DSP, In Good Taste. I stamped the sentiment on our Vellum card stock. The front is embellished with Gingham Gala Sequins. Card base is Petal Pink.
Forgot to add that this card is cased from the samples in the new catalog for this Suite. You can always find wonderful samples and ideas in our fabulous catalogs to case.
Like the Mother’s Day card yesterday, I used the new DSP, In Good Taste, and stamped it with the stamp set, Tasteful Touches. I layered it on Night of Navy CS and attached it to Whisper White Thick CS for the base card.
This set is part of the suite, In Good Taste, and contains matching dies, and beautiful embellishments, including this silver and blue twine. You are going to love this suite.
As always, if you want to purchase anything that is still current, before it retires the end of the month, go HERE.
This card I designed for all you mothers out there, both friends and family. I used items from the new Annual Catalog to be released June 2nd.
This card was created using the beautiful In Good Taste DSP, that will be in the new Catalog. Also, I used the current Dies, Word Wishes, pg 197 AC, for the sentiment in Night Of Navy CS. The flowers were die cut with Ornate Borders and I embellished them with Pearls. Card Stock is Night of Navy and Whisper White. Enjoy your Day!
Well, I wanted to show you one of the bundles you will be able to get when our new catalog comes out in June. This stamp set is called “Field of Flowers” and has a matching punch, “Confetti Flowers Border”, which is what I cut the little flowers out with on the Bottom of the card.
However, the most exciting thing about this card are our NEW IN-COLORS. They are the best we have had IMO. I love last years, but these are great. The two Card Stock colors I used here (don’t have the inks yet) are Bumble Bee and Magenta Madness. The ink I used on the flowers is Crushed Curry, which is a lot like the new Bumble Bee, but not as dark. The base card is Whisper white Thick CS. More to come, keep in touch.
I told you I love this DSP, Pressed Petals, pg 167 AC, and I will probably use it until the last bit is gone or until it retires the end of this month. The stamp sets I used on this card are “Stitched All Around”, pg 32 SC and “Very Versailles”, pg 113 AC. I fussy cut the flowers from the DSP and added the Burlap Ribbon, pg 175 AC.
I Used Very Vanilla Card Stock and stamped the Sentiment in Early Expresso. I embellished the front with Tropical Trinkets, pg 39 SC. You can still get these lovely products HERE.
It just blows my mind why SU would discontinue this gorgeous Embossing Folder, Coastal Weave 3D, pg 39 SC. Especially when they are carrying over the stamp set and Dies from this Suite. The entire suite can be found on pages 38-40 SC.
This card was made using Very Vanilla, both regular and thick CS. The Back Ground is Pressed Petals DSP, pg 167 AC, embossed with the Coastal Weave folder. I tore the edges of very vanilla CS for the center and sponged that, in addition to the background. The images, from Timeless Tropical, were stamped in Memento Black ink and colored with our Blends, Rocco Rose, Mango Melody and Crumb Cake.
I added the Tropical Trinkets to the front of the sentiment.
This is one of those pocket cards that I created with Pressed Petals DSP, pg 167 AC. I will be making a video of this type card soon so you will be able to see exactly how I made it.
I used the die from Stitched So Sweetly dies, pg 20 SC, to cut out the background for the Daisy (SAB Punch which will be carried over to the new catalog) and the 1″ circle punch.
As you can see in the 2nd picture I used the Braided Border punch, pg 29 SC. Card Stock used was Very Vanilla, So Saffron and Rocco Rose. I embellished it with the 5/8″ Organdy Ribbon, pg 174 AC, and the Champagne Rhinestones Basic Jewels, pg 15 SC.
This DSP can be found on pg 167 AC and the blossom I made with our really cool washi tape, pg 172 AC. This was my very favorite DSP out of all the DSP that SU has ever designed so far. I purchased about 3 packs of it and they were huge packs of 24 sheets (4 each of each design). I will be posting more of it in the next couple of days. And, yes they are almost gone. Just loved it!
The sentiment is from the Stamp set, “Stitched All Around”, pg 43 SC. The 3/8″ Scallloped Lace can be found on pg 174 AC. I embellished the pansy with the Perennial Floral Centers, pg 176AC. Card stock used was Very Vanilla, both regular and Thick.
Okay, back to my fav again, “Timeless Tropical”, pg 38 SC. This time I changed it up a bit. On Highland Heather CS, I used a Mask from the Basic Pattern decorative masks, carried over from the Holiday catalog, and will be in the New Annual catalog in June. YES! Love these masks. Anyway, I used Versa Mark, pg 180 AC, and sprinkled with Shimmery White Embossing Powder (To be retired end of this month). I heat set it and hopefully, you can see the Glittery background from the photo below. You can go HERE if you are interested in purchasing this Embossing powder before it is gone.
Decided to try these images stamped on Vellum CS, pg 169 AC. I stamped with Memento Black, and colored with our Blends, Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss, and Mango Melody, pg 179 AC. The best way to do this is to color on the reverse side of the image when using vellum.
I cut the images out with the dies from this suite, In The Tropics, pg 39 SC. Both the stamp set and dies will be carried over to the new catalog in June. However, the 10% discount bundle price will only be available to the end of May.
Card stocks used were Highland Heather, Basic Black and Thick Whisper White for the base card. I embellished the front with 3/8″ Glittered Organdy Ribbon, pg 175 AC.
I forgot I had this set, “First Frost”, pg 140 AC, and started playing with it the other day. Unfortunately, it is on the retired list but you can still purchase this by going HERE.
On the first card, I created a background on whisper white, stamping with Mossy Meadow and Seaside Spray inks. I then used the dies from Stitched So Sweetly, pg 20 SC, to stamp the sentiment. I used Seaside Spray CS to back the sentiment. The bow is Metalic Ribbon, also discontinued from the Holiday catalog.
Love this stamp set, Country Home, pg 95 AC, with the cotton blossoms. Traveling through out the South you see many cotton fields and they are so beautiful.
I stamped the images in Black Stazon, on watercolor paper, pg 169 AC and cut it out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies, pg 196 AC. I layered this on Basic Black CS, also cut out with the same dies. The background DSP is from Country Club DSP, pg 47 SC. This is retiring so if you want to purchase this or any other retired items go HERE. I mounted this on Whisper White Thick CS.
I used our Blends, pg 179 AC, Smokey Slate, Bronze, Seaside Spray, Night of Navy, and Call Me Clover to color the images. I did a light wash of Seaside Spray on the background. I made the tassle with Solid White Baker’s Twine, pg 173 AC. The sentiment is from the Set Varied Vases.
I really love using our blends, pg 179 AC. They are coming out with more colors in the new catalog to be released in June. Can’t wait for that. On this image I used Petal Pink, and Soft Sea Foam. This is what I called a CAS card (clean and simple). Just stamping and coloring. A little splatter too with the black marker. This set is called, Beauty Abounds, pg 87 AC and is also being carried over to the new catalog.
If you are not sure what is being carried over, you can go to the LAST CHANCE list to see what is being retired and will not be gong in the new catty coming out in June. Of course, you know how fast they go every year when they post this list, so if there is something that you want, don’t wait too long.
I can’t believe have never used this set “Garden Goodess”, pg 127 AC, for one of my classes and now it is retiring. I wanted to show something that I made with this in case you may be thinking of purchasing this set.
Ink pads I used were Poppy Parade, Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, Soft Suede, So saffron, and Memento Jet Black. I used Very Vanilla and Poppy Parade card stock and embellished the front with Rhinestones colored with our blends. Our Blends are alcohol Ink and can be used to color our rhinestones, pearl and many other embellishments. Good to know so that you can match our lovely embellishments to all our colors and the color is permanent.
Go HERE If you are interested in ordering anything from our retiring list before they disappear.
I know you have heard me say this before, but this is my all time favorite, “Timeless Tropical”, pg 38-40 SC, and I am so happy they are carring this over. Right now, before the new catalog comes out in June, you can get this set & Dies by purchasing the Bundle for 10% off. That will not be so in June. Go HERE if you want the deal now.
In addition, the DSP, Tropical Oasis, is so beautiful. I hate to see this retire. I just love it! I am sad because they are retiring the Embossing Folder, Coastal Weave, which is also my fav and the Braided Burlap Trim. This is one suite where I wish they would have carried over all of it. However, I am pleased that I will still have the stamp set and dies so that I can continue to show you samples from this bundle.
I used Crumb Cake, very Vanilla and Soft Suede Cardstock and Soft Suede ink. The die used to cut out the sentiment is from Ornate Dies,150664, carried over from the Fall catalog which will be going in the new June Annual Catty.
“Floral Esssence” is the name of this set, pg 108 AC. I stamped the images in Jet Black Memento Ink and colored them with our Blends, Blackberrry Bliss and Mossy Meadow. The Whisper White background is embossed with Coastal Weave Embossing Folder, pg 39 SC, and the edges are cut out with the dies from Ornate Garden Suite, 154115 $34. I love this embossing folder and I am so disappointed that it is retiring. Get it now if you want it.
Besides Whisper White, Cardstock used was Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow. I embellished the center with Perennial Essence Floral Centers, pg 176 AC. The sentiment is from the stamping set “Beauty Abounds”, pg 87 AC and the die used for that is from Smooth Sailing dies which are also being retired.
Of course, she is not a baby any more, but she is our youngest and therefore is the baby in the family. With this virus thing going on and all of us confined to our homes, here is your card this year! Hope you have a great day Maureen (Mo), we love you sooooo much!
These are two (2) sets that I will not be selling because they are retiring. I love them both, “Magical Mermaid”, pg 136AC, and Sea of Textures, pg 153AC. The sea of Textures has matching dies, which are great…Remember the Octopus? Gotta have it!
I used blends on the Mermaid, Mint Macaron, Pretty Peacock, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake, Ivory, Petal Pink, and Bermuda Bay. For the vines I used Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake, Shara Sand, and Shaded Spruce ink pads. I embellished the front of the card with Gingham Gala Sequins, pg 178AC. Card stock was Mint Macaron and Whisper White. I used Dies from Ornate Layers Dies, 152726 $37, and the Ornate Frame Dies, 150664, carried over from the Fall catalog. Both will be carried over to the new June Catalog.
I wanted to use up some of the beautiful DSP, Noble Peacock, pg 167AC. It is retiring and so pretty, I almost forgot I had it. The stamp set, Country Home, pg 95AC, is one that is being carried over, and I am so glad of that. I just love this set and the sentiments are great also. I used our blends, Old Olive, Balmy Blue, Smokey Slate, Ivory, and crumb cake, pg 179AC. I used Whisper White card stock for the Image and Whisper White Thick for the card base. The die I used to cut out the main focal point is from the set, Natures Thoughts, 153586. If you like this I would love a comment and if you would like any of the items from this sample, please go HERE.
I used the Ornate Border Dies, 152724, $34, on this card and the both the stamp sets, Ornate Thanks, 149471, $18 and Ornate Style set, 152572, $21. Card stock used was Whisper White, and Mint Macaron. I used DSP, Ornate Garden, 152488, $15. Colors were Mint Macaron, Terracotta Tile, and Memento jet black. I fussy cut the flowers and embellished them with Faceted Gems, pg 178 AC. Since most of these items are not in any catalog yet, you can purchase them HERE.
Hey y’all,
Sorry, I haven’t posted in a couple of days but I have been busy painting. With this confinement thing I got my watercolor paints, brushes and paper out and started to watercolor again. It is amazing how much I forgot. It felt so strange to work on paper without an image already stamped on it. Now I am back to drawing and then painting. Soooo different.
I am taking a break from it and I will be working on some cards this afternoon so I can start posting some samples again.
Now that the RETIREMENT LIST is out, please go to my website to see what is retired so you don’t miss out on buying something you always wanted but didn’t get around to it. In addition, some of the items are reduced for a great savings.
Have a great day! Hugs, Patti
I really like the way this card turned out. Again I used Shimmery White card stock, pg169 AC, to create the sea and rolling waves. Inks I used were Pacific Point, Coastal Cabana and Pool Party on the water and the sky. The trees (Stamp Set, “Timeless Tropical”, pg 40 SC) are Soft Suede, Granny Apple Green and the sand is Sahara Sand. I made the waves with Craft White Ink and White Embossing Powder, pgs 180-181 AC.
The Sail boat (stamp set, “Sailing Home”, pg 146 AC) is stamped in Night of Navy Ink and Crumb Cake, and cut out with the matching dies, Smooth Sailing, pg 195 AC.
Besides the Shimmery white card stock, I used Soft Suede and Whisper White Thick CS for the back ground and base card. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Jet Black ink, pg 180 AC, and that is also from the Timeless Tropical set.
As always, I appreciate any comments you may have and please go HERE if you would like to help support my business.
The stamp set I used on this card is called Timeless Tulips and can be found on pg 43 SC. Colors I used on the tulip were Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry, and Old Olive. The background paper Mossy Meadow is embossed with the folder, Layered Leaves 3D, pg 198 AC. The DSP is Mosaic Mood, pg 167 AC, and the Whisper White is cut out with a die from Nature Thoughts, 153586. The ribbon is from The Ornate Garden combo pack, 152479 $7. Hope you like it. Please go HERE if you would like to purchase items to make this card.
The Background technique on this card I cased from another demonstrator on You Tube. However, I went back and tried to find her name and was unable to locate the video. If you know who she is, please let me know so I can give her credit for her lovely idea.
Just found our this Demonstartor’s name who did the video on this technique. Her name is Elizabeth Rush. Thank you Eizabeth for your inspiration.
Colors I used on this card are Pacific Point, Coastal Cabana, Sahara Sand, Garden Green, and Early Espresso. The Trees are from the suite, “Tropical Oasis”, pgs 38-40 SC and cut out with the matching dies. The Chair, and the drink, is from the set Colorful Seasons, pg 56, AC, along with the matching dies, “Seasonal Layers” pg 195 AC. Both of these sets are very special to me, as you know, I love the sea, and living so close to it brings back fond family memories.
The card stock I used is Crumb cake, Pacific Point, and Whisper White, and they can be found on pages 162-169 AC. The Background of the sea and the sand is watercolored on Shimmery White card stock. I used white craft ink, pg 180 AC, to draw the waves and then added white embossing power, pg 181AC.
To purchase any of these products, please go HERE. As always, I appreciate your support to keep me in business. Please feel free to comment on my posts. I love hearing from you.

One of the reasons I love being a Demonstrator is the wonderful people you meet, who love paper crafting, like we do. I received this card from my Upline, Linda Persoon for acknowledging my 17th year as a Stampin’Up!© Demonstrator.
I love what she did with this set, “Positive Thoughts”, pg 23 SC. If you look at my post from yesterday, you will see that I used the same stamp set on my card, yet they are so different. Thank you Linda for your thoughtfulness.
If being a Stampin’Up! Demonstrator is something that interests you, I would love to discuss this with you. Click on the drop down above, “Make Extra Money!” or Go HERE to find out more.
I created this card from the set, Positive Thoughts, pg 23 SC. Matching Dies are not in the catalog, but were added as a product enhancement. These dies can still be ordered, “Nature’s Thoughts”, 153586, $29. Go HERE to purchase. I used Very Vanilla CS and Mango Melody CS. Inks I used were Mango Melody, Crushed Curry, Pear Pizazz, Terra-cotta Tile and Memento Black Ink. Pearl embellishments were colored with our Blends.
I stamped the image from Ornate Style stamp set, 152572, $21, with VersaMark Ink, pg 180 and Clear Embossing Powder, pg 181 AC. Inks used were Terracotta Tile, Crushed Curry, and Old Olive. I washed the background on the Shimmery Card stock, pg 169, with Mint Macaron ink and on the sentiment, Terracotta Tile. The Die used, Ornate Layers, 152726 $37, I cut out on regular Whisper White CS. DSP is Ornate Garden, 152488 $15. Base card is Thick Whisper White, pg 169.
The stamp set, Ornate Thanks, 149471 $18, is loaded with great sentiments. The beautiful DSP, Ornate Garden, 152488 $15, which is featured on this card has gold running through it and really makes this card pop! I cut out the blossom and colored it with Terracotta Tile Stampin’write markers, pg 164 AC. I then covered it with Wink of Stella, pg 180 AC. I used the Gilded Gems, 152478 $7, to embellish the front of the card. The card stock is Mint Macaron, along with the ink used for the sentiment.
The Dies from this suite are so awesome! Here I used the dies from Ornate Layers, 152726 $37. I also used the Dry Embossing Folder, Ornate Floral 3D, 152725, $9, on our regular Whisper White CS, pg 169 AC.
The image, stamped on Shimmery Paper, pg 169AC is from the set Ornate Style 152572, $2I. This is stamped with Versamark Ink, pg180, and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder, pg, 181. I used our Aqua Pen, pg 180 AC, and the Inks I used were, Terracotta Tile, Mint Macron, Old Olive and Crushed Curry.
The embossed background is glued to the base card, which is Thick Whisper White CS. The ribbon is Old Olive from the Ornate Garden combo pack, 152470, $7.
The Ornate Garden suite (see flyer below on the 9th) will be in the new Annual Catalog to be released in June. However, you can get this now. As I said before, I will be posting several cards and items from this suite. Because it is not in one of our current catalogs I will list the ordering number for your convenience when ordering.
I created this card using the Ornate Embossing Folder #152725, $9.00, on Mint Macron CS, pg 163 AC. The front is layered on Terracotta Tile CS, pg 164, and the base card is Crumb Cake CS. The image is from the stamp set, Ornate Style #152572, $21.00, and I colored the image with our Blends found on pg 179 AC. The sentiment is from the set Ornate Thanks #149471, $18.00 which is stamped on our Whisper White CS with Memento Black Ink, pg.180, AC.
The little blooms were die cut with the Ornate Border Dies, #152724 $34.00, and sponged with Mint Macron Ink. I added the Happiness Blooms enamel Dots, pg 177, AC, to the center of these die cut blooms.
HAPPY EASTER
Today will not be our traditional Easter with our family, but we feel very blessed that we, and they, are doing well. So far we have all escaped this virus thing, praise the Lord! Hoping you all have a Blessed and Happy Easter.
Hugs, Patti
