About a year ago I learned how to use MDS files with my e-cutter. It has really changed the way I craft. I love to explore the downloads and see what I can create. The possibilities are endless! When I saw the new Cool Like That Giftable Templates Digital Download, I couldn’t wait to give it a try! They were screaming to be cut with my e-cutter!

I wanted to put an image on the front of each little bag or box and place some of our beautiful new Designer Series Paper behind the image negative. I thought that using my favorite Kraft Cardstock combined with some of the new vivid Designer Series Paper prints would really make these little goodies pop!

I explored different images and occasions and came up with some really fun combinations!

I started with a summer goodie bag. I used an anchor from the Anchors Away June Kit and a sheet from Maritime Designer Series Paper to create a fun, nautical-themed

gift. Next, I went with a Fourth of July theme. A simple MDS star punch combined with another print from the Maritime Designer Series Paper makes a fun goodie bag!

I tried using a simple word made using the Smitten Alphabet Punch to create the “Hello” and backed it using the fun Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper. Just think of all the little things you could make your gift say!

I always need gift card holders for the many birthday parties my children go to, so I used the six-sided box template to create a birthday gift box. Stampin’ Up!’s Triangle Punch and some of the bright Flower Pot Designer Series Paper make a fun treat  for my kids to give!

Lately, my oldest daughter’s friends all want iTunes gift cards! So the headphone image from the All Time Fave Photobook Template paired with the Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper make the perfect gift card box!

Lastly, I sprinkled a few butterflies on the front of this sweet template using Stampin’ Up!’s butterfly punches. Back it with more of the Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper, and you have a sweet gift bag for a girlfriend.

As you can see, MDS downloads don’t have to be just digital! You can bring them to life and make them out of Stampin’ Up’s beautiful paper that we all love. Consider giving it a try—even if you don’t have an e-cutter! They can easily be printed and hand-cut! The possibilities truly are endless!
