31. May 2020 · Comments Off on Getting my fill of this beautiful Embossing Folder before it retires! · Categories: Cards

Yes, I am so sad that this EF, Coastal Weave, pg 39 SC, is retiring.  It has literally been my favorite out of all the embossing folders that SU has ever made for us.  So perfect for the tropical sets.  The stamp set I used is Floral Essence, pg 108 AC, which is being carried over to the new catalog in June.  I colored the images in Petal Pink and embossed them, with our stamparatus in Clear Embossing powder, pg 181 AC.

The DSP is retiring and is part of the Best Dressed Suite, pg 54 -56 SC.  I used Melon Mambo and Whisper White CS for the layering and Thick Whisper White for the card base.  The sentiment is stamped in Memento Black on So Saffron CS.  You can find these products here.

This set is called “Comfort & Hope” and will be in the new catalog.  I used Whisper White, Gorgeous Grape and Shaded Spruce Card Stock.  Inks used were all the same except I added Highland Heather.  I embellished the front with retiring Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots.

The Greenery and the Flowers are from the set “Positive Thoughts” and cut out with the matching dies Nature’s Thoughts, both of which will be carried over to the new catalog.

I am so glad that they have carried over this set, “A Good Man”,  from last year.  It is a very good set for Father’s Day which will be coming up soon.  I used very vanilla card stock to stamp the images and cut it out with a die from Nature’s Thoughts.  I colored Dad and the boy with our Blends, Night of Navy, Pool Party, Petal Pink and Crumb Cake.

The flowers, from the new set “Field of Flowers”, are stamped with Poppy Parade and Pear Pizazz.  Th background is washed with Mint Macaron.  The DSP used for the background is retiring (Tropical Oasis).  I layered the image with Mint Macaron, which is also the card base.

I just realized that ordering from the new catalog does not start until JUNE 3RD.  I have been thinking it was June 2nd, but I was wrong.  I hope it didn’t distress too many of you.

Looking forward to seeing all of you very soon.  My clubs and camps are starting back up in Middle of June.  I am so ready for all of this and I am sure you guys are too!

The latest Paper Pumpkin that I rec’d had one of the new In-colors, Misty Moonlight included.  I absolutely LOVE IT!

26. May 2020 · Comments Off on These Mason Jars are the BOMB! · Categories: Cards

On this card I used the Mason Jar Shaker Domes from the “Flowers for Every Season Suite”.  I really Love the way it came out.  I filled the jar with cut up soft suede and Early Espresso CS to resemble dirt.  The greenery is from the Pineapple die, “In the Tropics” and cut out with Mossy Meadow CS.  I layered some green DSP from “The World of Good” in back of the greenery to give it some depth.  I used the sentiment from “Timeless Tropical” stamp set, and cut it out with a die from “Tasteful Label Dies”.

The background is the DSP, “In Good Taste” and I finished off the card with wooden embellishments from that same suite.  All of these items will be available on June 2nd.  If you need a catalog, please contact me at (843) 881-2586 or email me HERE.

I used the new In-Color Misty Moonlight CS on this card.  Such beautiful colors this year. The Stamp set is “Tasteful Touches” with matching “Tasteful Label Dies”, and will be available in the new Annual Catalog.

I used the Bronze Foil Paper and stamped the image on Shimmery White CS.  I embossed it using our stamparatus.  How do you do that?  Stamp the image in Misty Moonlight ink, clean off the stamp and then add VersaMark ink to the stamp.  Stamp over the misty Moonlight image and then add clear embossing powder.  Heat until set.  The Stamparatus allows you to stamp the same image precisely over the original image.

The feather is embossed in gold and the card is embellished with the new Gold Trim from the Forever Greenery Combo pack.  All of which can be purchased on my website on June 2nd.  In addition, I added our Gold Metallic Pearls to the front of the card.  Hope you like it.

23. May 2020 · Comments Off on Flamingos in the Tropics · Categories: Cards

The background on this card is from the Memories and More pack of the Tropical Oasis Suite, pg 38-40 SC.  I love these packs because they contain the most beautiful scenes and images that go perfectly if you are scrap booking or adding them to your cards.  This suite will not be carried over to the new catalog.  However, the stamp set “Timeless Tropical”, and “In the Tropics Dies”,  will be carried over.  Right now you can still buy this bundle and get 10% off, or the suite for that matter and get 10% off.  That will not be the case when the new annual catalog is release on June 2nd.  I also included the Tropical Oasis Trinkets on the front of the card.  Go HERE to get the entire suite, bundle, or items that are being retired.

The card stock I used is Terracotta Tile and Very Vanilla.  I colored the leaves with our Mossy Meadow Blends and the sentiment is stamped in Memento Black Ink.  The Die cut Labels are from Stitched So Sweetly Dies and Ornate Frame Dies.

I just got this stamp set “Comfort & Hope” in Wednesday’s mail and couldn’t wait to create something with it.  I used Very Vanilla CS and stamped the images in Soft suede and Mossy Meadow.  The flower is cut out with the punch, Perennial Flower.  The flower is colored with Blackberry Bliss markers and embellished with the retiring center.   The wheat stalk is made by separating the strands of thread from the burlap ribbon (also retiring) and tied together with Linen Thread.

The sentiment is stamped in Blackberry Bliss Ink and cut out with one of the dies from Tasteful Labels.  The front is layered on Mossy Meadow CS and the base card is Thick Very Vanilla.  Go HERE for for any retiring items on the Last Chance list.

I created this card with the set “Beautiful World” which will be in the new catalog.  I used the DSP, the Chrome Foil CS,  and the dies also from that suite.  I added the braided twine and Very Vanilla CS for the Sentiment.  The little wooden embellishments are from the suite “In Good Taste” also in the new catalog.

This card was created using the “Field of Flowers” Stamp set from the new annual catalog to be released June 2nd.  I used the DSP, Flowers for Every Season, and stamped the image with Old Olive and Mango Medley Ink. The small flowers were stamped in Poppy Parade and cut out with the Matching Confetti Flowers Punch. The base card is Whisper White Thick CS.

Good News!

Due to its usability for a variety of papercrafting techniques, including as a work surface to get even ink pressure and coverage with background stamps, SU has decided to continue offering the Stampin’ Pierce Mat (126199) as an annual catalog item and remove it from the retired list.

Please note that the item number for this product is currently shut off. Stampin’Up!© will post a Weekly Update as soon as the inventory has been replenished and the item is once again available to order.

The designer paper on this card is from the beautiful (soon to be retired) Peaceful Poppies, pg 25 SC.  I stamped the images from the set “Jar of Flowers” (in new June catalog), with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink,  I colored the flowers with our Blends, Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral and Granny Apple Green.

The jar is cut out with the Jar punch (new catalog) in Vellum CS and adhered to the front of the card.  Both Front  “Always” and inside sentiments “Thinking of You”, are from a New Set, “Field of Flowers”.   I used the Retiring White Twine on the front of the card and also the retiring Glitter Enamel Dots.  All of these retired items can be found HERE.

17. May 2020 · Comments Off on Jar of Flowers · Categories: Cards

I love the way this card came out.  The DSP, Flowers for every Season is so awesome!  I used the die from Nature’s Thoughts on the Whisper White CS and stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I then colored the images using Ivory, Mango Medley, Cajun Craze, Shaded Spruce and Light Granite Gray for shading.  The card base is our new in-color Just Jade. The matching inks for our new in-colors won’t be in until the catalog goes live but I thought the light shaded spruce matched up pretty well with Just Jade.

The jar was punched out of our vellum cs and stamped in Jet black Stazon ink.  Ribbon is the new in-color Just Jade.

Items on the retired list are moving quite fast so if you want something, now is the time to order it before it is gone.  THIS will take you there.

Yes, another beautiful Suite.  This suite has everything, including some Christmas.  I didn’t get the entire suite but I did get the bundle of “Jar of Flowers” stamp set with the Matching Jar Punch. On this card I used the DSP, “Flowers for every season”, for the background and used the die from Ornate Garden to cut out the DSP.

I stamped the images on Whisper White CS, using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and colored them with our Blends, Seaside Spray, Cajun Craze, Flirty Flamingo, Shaded Spruce, so Saffron and Light Granite Gray.  The Base card is our thick Whisper White.

Y’all should be getting your new catalog by the end of the month and you will be so amazed by it.  I really think it is the best ever.  If you are not on my catalog list to get one, and would like one, just contact me and we can get you one when they come in.

I submitted this card to SUO Challenges because I thought it was a great card for us women.

I wanted to show you another card I created with the World Of Good Suite.  In this card I used a variety of the DSP.  I also used the new in-color ribbon, Cinnamon Cider, along with one of the slides.  I used Early Espresso and Very Vanilla Card Stock, and Mossy Meadow Ink.

14. May 2020 · Comments Off on World of Good Suite · Categories: Cards

This is another suite in the new Annual Catalog.  I bought the entire suite because I love it!  The Stamp set “Beautiful World” has wonderful images and really great sentiments.  When you purchase this bundle, stamps & Dies you will get a 10%.  However, if you purchase the entire suite, you will also get a 10% discount on everything in the suite, including the DSP, Embossing Folder, Faux Suede Trim, Chrome Foil Sheets, World of Good Memories & More Card Packs, and the gorgeous Antiqued Corners and Slides.  That is a lot for 10% off.  Such a deal!

I embossed the card front with the embossing folder Old World Paper, used the dies on the bottom corner of the card front and the world map.  I used the Chrome foil sheets on the globe and the beautiful DSP. You are going to love this suite.

You can still get retired items here.

The background paper on this card is from the DSP, In Good Taste.  The flowers, sentiment and branches are from the set, “Tasteful Touches”.  They are stamped in Soft Suede ink and colored with our blends, Petal Pink.

The branches are cut from Crumb Cake CS, with the punch, Sprig, which is being carried over to the new catalog.  I used the braided Trim on the front, also being carried over.  The card base is Petal Pink.

Like the Mother’s Day card yesterday, I used the new DSP, In Good Taste, and stamped it with the stamp set, Tasteful Touches.  I layered it on Night of Navy CS and attached it to Whisper White Thick CS for the base card.

This set is part of the suite, In Good Taste, and contains matching dies, and beautiful embellishments, including this silver and blue twine.  You are going to love this suite.

As always, if you want to purchase anything that is still current, before it retires the end of the month, go HERE.

This card I designed for all you mothers out there, both friends and family.  I used items from the new Annual Catalog to be released June 2nd.

This card was created using the beautiful In Good Taste DSP, that will be in the new Catalog.  Also, I used the current Dies, Word Wishes, pg 197 AC, for the sentiment in Night Of Navy CS.  The flowers were die cut with Ornate Borders and I embellished them with Pearls.  Card Stock is Night of Navy and Whisper White.  Enjoy your Day!

Well, I wanted to show you one of the bundles you will be able to get when our new catalog comes out in June.  This stamp set is called “Field of Flowers” and has a matching punch, “Confetti Flowers Border”, which is what I cut the little flowers out with on the Bottom of the card.

However, the most exciting thing about this card are our NEW IN-COLORS.  They are the best we have had IMO. I love last years, but these are great.  The two Card Stock colors I used here (don’t have the inks yet) are Bumble Bee and Magenta Madness.  The ink I used on the flowers is Crushed Curry, which is a lot like the new Bumble Bee, but not as dark.  The base card is Whisper white Thick CS.  More to come, keep in touch.

I told you I love this DSP, Pressed Petals, pg 167 AC, and I will probably use it until the last bit is gone or until it retires the end of this month.  The stamp sets I used on this card are “Stitched All Around”, pg 32 SC and “Very Versailles”, pg 113 AC.  I fussy cut the flowers from the DSP and added the Burlap Ribbon, pg 175 AC.

I Used Very Vanilla Card Stock and stamped the Sentiment in Early Expresso.  I embellished the front with Tropical Trinkets, pg 39 SC.  You can still get these lovely products HERE.

07. May 2020 · Comments Off on Tropical Oasis Suite · Categories: Cards

It just blows my mind why SU would discontinue this gorgeous Embossing Folder, Coastal Weave 3D, pg 39 SC.  Especially when they are carrying over the stamp set and Dies from this Suite.  The entire suite can be found on pages 38-40 SC.

This card was made using Very Vanilla, both regular and thick CS.  The Back Ground is Pressed Petals DSP, pg 167 AC, embossed with the Coastal Weave folder.  I tore the edges of very vanilla CS for the center and sponged that, in addition to the background.  The images, from Timeless Tropical, were stamped in Memento Black ink and colored with our Blends, Rocco Rose, Mango Melody and Crumb Cake.

I added the Tropical Trinkets to the front of the sentiment.

This is one of those pocket cards that I created with Pressed Petals DSP, pg 167 AC.  I will be making a video of this type card soon so you will be able to see exactly how I made it.

I used the die from Stitched So Sweetly dies, pg 20 SC, to cut out the background for the Daisy (SAB Punch which will be carried over to the new catalog) and the 1″ circle punch.

As you can see in the 2nd picture I used the Braided Border punch, pg 29 SC.  Card Stock used was Very Vanilla, So Saffron and Rocco Rose.   I embellished it with the 5/8″ Organdy Ribbon, pg 174 AC, and the Champagne Rhinestones Basic Jewels, pg 15 SC.

05. May 2020 · Comments Off on Pressed Petals DSP · Categories: Cards

This DSP can be found on pg 167 AC and the blossom I made with our really cool washi tape, pg 172 AC.  This was my very favorite DSP out of all the DSP that SU has ever designed so far.  I purchased about 3 packs of it and they were huge packs of 24 sheets (4 each of each design).  I will be posting more of it in the next couple of days.  And, yes they are almost gone.  Just loved it!

The sentiment is from the Stamp set, “Stitched All Around”, pg 43 SC.  The 3/8″ Scallloped Lace can be found on pg 174 AC.  I embellished the pansy with the Perennial Floral Centers, pg 176AC.  Card stock used was Very Vanilla, both regular and Thick.

04. May 2020 · Comments Off on ALOHA! Timeless Tropical · Categories: Cards

Okay, back to my fav again, “Timeless Tropical”, pg 38 SC.  This time I changed it up a bit.  On Highland Heather CS, I used a Mask from the Basic Pattern decorative masks, carried over from the Holiday catalog, and will be in the New Annual catalog in June. YES! Love these masks.  Anyway, I used Versa Mark, pg 180 AC, and sprinkled with Shimmery White Embossing Powder (To be retired end of this month).  I heat set it and hopefully, you can see the Glittery background from the photo below.  You can go HERE if you are interested in purchasing this Embossing powder before it is gone.

Decided to try these images stamped on Vellum CS, pg 169 AC.  I stamped with Memento Black, and colored with our Blends, Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss, and Mango Melody, pg 179 AC.  The best way to do this is to color on the reverse side of the image when using vellum.

I cut the images out with the dies from this suite, In The Tropics, pg 39 SC.  Both the stamp set and dies will be carried over to the new catalog in June.  However, the 10% discount bundle price will only be available to the end of May.

Card stocks used were Highland Heather, Basic Black and Thick Whisper White for the base card.  I embellished the front with 3/8″ Glittered Organdy Ribbon, pg 175 AC.

I forgot I had this set, “First Frost”, pg 140 AC, and started playing with it the other day. Unfortunately, it is on the retired list but you can still purchase this by going HERE.

On the first card, I created a background on whisper white,  stamping with Mossy Meadow and Seaside Spray inks.  I then used the dies from Stitched So Sweetly, pg 20 SC, to stamp the sentiment.  I used Seaside Spray CS to back the sentiment.  The bow is Metalic Ribbon, also discontinued from the Holiday catalog.

Love this stamp set, Country Home, pg 95 AC, with the cotton blossoms.  Traveling through out the South you see many cotton fields and they are so beautiful.

I stamped the images in Black Stazon, on watercolor paper, pg 169 AC and cut it out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies, pg 196 AC.  I layered this on Basic Black CS, also cut out with the same dies.  The background DSP is from Country Club DSP, pg 47 SC.  This is retiring so if you want to purchase this or any other retired items go HERE.  I mounted this on Whisper White Thick CS.

I used our Blends, pg 179 AC, Smokey Slate, Bronze, Seaside Spray, Night of Navy, and Call Me Clover to color the images.  I did a light wash of Seaside Spray on the background.  I made the tassle with Solid White Baker’s Twine, pg 173 AC.  The sentiment is from the Set Varied Vases.

01. May 2020 · Comments Off on Seems like Blends are my go to lately! · Categories: Cards

I really love using our blends, pg 179 AC.  They are coming out with more colors in the new catalog to be released in June.  Can’t wait for that.  On this image I used Petal Pink, and Soft Sea Foam.  This is what I called a CAS card (clean and simple).  Just stamping and coloring. A little splatter too with the black marker.  This set is called, Beauty Abounds, pg 87 AC and is also being carried over to the new catalog.

If you are not sure what is being carried over, you can go to the LAST CHANCE list to see what is being retired and will not be gong in the new catty coming out in June.  Of course, you know how fast they go every year when they post this list, so if there is something that you want, don’t wait too long.
