It is called “Night in Bethlehem.”  This is a dynamic set and cannot wait to use it with different foils.  I also used the stitched shaped framelits for the sentiment.

I know, it is only August, but the sets are so awesome, I can’t wait to start using them.  Isn’t this a great card if you live here near the coast?  This is another set from the Holiday catalog, called “Beachy Little Christmas!”  I love it and I will be using this a lot this year.

I had to add this Halloween card to because it was so much fun to make.  You are going to love using the new spooky stamps from the Holiday Catalog (HC) soon to be released in September.  The name of this set is Spooky Cat.  Oh!, and it comes with the cutest cat and matching punch if you bundle.  Love it!

ON this card I used our new embossing paste.  I dyed it with soft sky reinker and used an old water stencil from my journaling supplies.  The stamp set I used is, Magical Mermaid, page 172, from the AC.  I love this set.  In addition, I used the birds from the stamp set, High Tide, page 140.  I love this paste because it dries so quickly.  Sand is done with crumb cake and layered on Soft Sky card stock.

This set is so awesome!  You can find this set, Coffee Cafe’ on page 31 of the AC.  It has matching dies, Coffee Cups Framelits, page 213, matching DSP, Coffee Break, page188, Corrugated Elements, page 196.  It also has a Cardstock pack that matches all the colors in the DSP.

The best part: You can bundle the set and dies and receive a 10% discount.  This is going to be a fantastic item for the Holidays.  I can see this being used for SB gift cards, etc.  The coffee splatter is made with our new Embossing Paste, page 201.  I dyed the paste with Soft Suede ink.  The stencil, however, is not SU.   It is Tim Holz and I have had it a long time for use in my Art journals.

Card stock used is Very Vanilla over Soft Suede and based on Crumb Cake.

I really love this incolor and will be sorry to see it go.  But we do have some beautiful new incolors to replace the outgoing ones.  Certainly makes it interesting every year.  Fortunately there were no changes to our core colors this year.
I used a mint macaron wash for the background on whisper White card stock and die cut the flowers and leaves with the Stylist Stems Framelits dies on page 42 of the OC.  I used the SAB glimmer paper in addition to the Mint macaron sheer ribbon found on page 178 in the AC.

I am really disappointed that this set, page 48 of the OC is retiring.  As far as I know, the Build it framelits dies have already been sold out.  Since this is such an awesome masculine set and it went over so well with just about all of our customers around the world, maybe SU will think of designing another set with matching dies in the future.  I am hoping that maybe they will decide to come back with this set.  Wouldn’t that be nice.  Wishful thinking!
Colors I used were Soft Suede, Smokey Slate and Crumb cake.  I added the Urban Underground Embellishments on page 47.

I painted this tree, from Santa’s Sleigh, on water color paper and then cut it out with the matching Thinlits dies, page 24 of the HC.  Tha Santa was stamped from the set Cookie Cutter Christmas, also on water color paper, and cut out with the matching punch, page 6 of the HC.

I used the negative piece of the cut out tree as a stencil, and sponged the tree on the card front.  I then, popped up with dimensionals, the cut tree and laid it on top of the stenciled image.  The sentiment is from the set Reason for the season, page 34 of the AC.   I thought it needed a little something so I added the Brights Sequins, page 177 in the AC.  It sounds like a lot of work but it was pretty simple.  What do you think?
